Five Thai soldiers were wounded, one seriously, when Cambodian soldiers attacked their post near Phu Ma Khua, near a disputed area in Si Sa Ket province, on Tuesday morning, 2nd Army commander Lt-Gen Tawatchai Samutsakhon said on Tuesday.
Lt-Gen Tawatchai said that the Cambodians attacked about 5am on Tuesday after the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) called for a permanent ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia.
The attack was followed by a firefight, he said.
The 2nd Army chief said five Thai soldiers were wounded, one of them - Sgt Ratchapol Sripanya - was seriously hurt.
Military sources said although people in Kanatharalak district, in Si Sa Ket, had returned to their homes, many were sleeping in bunkers because they were still not convinced there would be no more cross-border fighting.
They returned to their villages each morning.

The Cambodian has never attacked them at all, during the Cambodian soldiers are sleeping, we heard this explotion, actually B-41 or hand Granade of Thai sodiers exploded themself. Cambodian army did nothings, except looking on the place. That is so supprised why Thai army are lying like this. When you are still lie "Black Magic" will punish you more.

KI Why don't you talk more about Kos Trol, Sea and lands that have been lost to Vietnam by who teaty.
Please educate khmer more about our real history. At Cambodia'school they don't teach about that at all.

Urgen, before more life lost, UN must send their agent to the area, because that is your job. Cambodia is a member of UN, so does Thai and these two nation have been at war. How many more life needlessly be lost?
