In the latest round of armed clashes between Thailand and Cambodia, one man has been frequently mentioned in the news - Maj-General Hun Manet, who is the eldest son of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.
This is very interesting and a good comparison. The son of the dictator of Cambodia is responsible for the attacks on Thailand. Last year the son of the dictator of North Korea was responsible for the attacks on South Korea.
Thailand has a large amount of money invested in Cambodia, likewise South Korea has a large amount of investments in North Korea. Both countries have paid back the countries that have been helping them by armed attacks against the donor countries. Is this like mad dogs biting the hand that feeds them?
Now North Korea wants to have talks, same as Cambodia wants to have talks. Do these two dictators get together and compare notes?

The Thai soldiers committed atrocities against Cambodian refugees. Where as South Korean go to great extend to help the Norht's refugees.
Thai is never kind to any refugees.

Where is the cartoon portraits Khmer Rouge killing civilians? Where is the cartoon portraits the corruption and incompetency of Lon Nol government that led to the Khmer Rouge's victory? Name me a better Cambodian government than the current government in the past 500 years. Please do. Yes you can tell me how the King's father's regime was better, but do you believe so? Remember his policy led and playboy lifestyle led to the Coup and then he invited Khmer Rouge to come in and fight for him. Also why nobody says a thing when king Sihamouni took over the throne from his father? Hun Manet is not even 1/10 of being chose as a leader. Remember there are over 20 political parties in Cambodia, and the people still have the power to vote. You can tell me about the vote buying or intimidation all you want. The truth is, the survey by independent NGO found that about 70% or so of the Cambodian people thought Cambodia is going on the right track. People are happy with this government. You guys keep preaching for democracy, ain't positive praise by 70% or more of the people ain't democratic enough for you? You guys only believe that it is democratic if it goes your way?
They should have another pictures in the cartoon depicting a Thai general, PAD leader, or Abhisit who say " I'm different. I don't have to have the power handed to me. I would just use a coup or use Cambodia as a rally point to steal power from legitimate government." Or they can depict a picture of their King, Bhumibol, killed his brother to get his throne and laughed at the other two youngsters for waiting till their father died to get the power. Checked some rumors about how King Bhumibol killed his brother whom was then the King of Thailand.
So sad to see some bloggers echo Thai propaganda about Hun Sen’s son. Here is Thai media try to frame:
1. To make Hun Manet as a central point -- it implies that Cambodia has motive to start the war.
2. To groom Hun Manet to be next PM -- it implies that Cambodia is not a democratic county.
3. To link Cambodia to North Korea is to isolate Cambodia.
Because of Thai media, Hun Manet is much famous in Thailand then in Cambodia.
Unquestionably, bring the case to UNSC is hard enough. The result of the meeting is still unknown. At this point, Khmers should better know how to put aside their differences to help Cambodia win at the table.
Is Cambodia a democratic country?
I did not know that.
Thais: you are always good at making up your own stories. Stop cheating the general Thai society. You can't live in peace if you don't speak the truth.
If you stopped trespassing and bulldozing to Cambodian territory, this war would not have happened. You behave like thief (in fact you were) by using media to speak the made-up story while you do the dirty works and suppress medias not to cover the dirty works.
