Preah Vihear – Armed clash took place in the Sambok Khmum area, near Preah Vihear temple, at 3PM on 04 February. A source from Preah Vihear indicated that the exchange of armed fire includes both small and heavy weapons and black smoke clouds fill the sky.
There is no information in the outcome or the cause of this clash, but a source claimed that the clash was initiated by Thailand because they use heavy equipments to clear a road to enter Sambok Khmum, then Cambodia tried to stop them, but the Thai refused to listen and continued to clear the road coming to Cambodia. Finally the Thai troops shot at the Cambodian soldiers to threaten them, and Cambodia used its rights to defend itself.
The clash is taking place while Kasit Piromya, the Thai minister of Foreign Affairs, is visiting Phnom Penh and the two Thai border trespassers in Prey Sar jail.

During World War II the Japanese delegations were sent to Washington to negotiation about the politics in regard solving the world problem. Once the Japanese were inside the U.S, the war which caused by Japan started immediately. They had used a variety of air forces to quell the American Navy who based at Hawaii. At one hand, the Japanese delegations used the negotiation tactics to deal a peace means with the U.S, and on the other, they took advantage of the U.S by bombing and declared a war in the U.S. Therefore, the Thai's military's ploy is used a very similar strategy of the Japan. They sent out the Kasit P. and his delegations to Phnom Penh, and at the same time, the Thai gov't intentionally wage a war against Cambodia. However, when the skirmish is started, the BANGKOK POST always blamed on the Cambodian military side that its soldiers initiated the clash first. Indeed, Thailand, especially the Abbhisit's gov't and the PAD are the real trouble instigators in SOUTHEAST ASIA. Thailand's stratagem of using a military as well as a political tactics to masquerade Cambodia is not quite working. REMEMBER !!!!!!!!This is a 21 century. Cambodia has the ability to possess the sophisticated weapons from CHINA as well as Thailand bought its weapon from the WEST. The Thai's aging F-16s are almost obsoleted in term of technology. The Cambodian-Chinese stinger missiles can shoot down at a short range. The Thai's British-Tanks are not effective. Cambodia is easily shot with DK-shoulder to air-missiles. The Thai's warship carriers are not also effective as Cambodia has DF-21D to destroy the Thai's fleet at any moment if the real war is willing to start.
