Enclosed are (1) a copy of Foreign Minister Prince Norodom Kantol's letter to the UN Security Council on 23 April 1966 about Thai attacks and capture of Preah Vihear Temple and (2) Huot Sambath's letter to the UN Secuirty Council of 17 May 1966 on the same issue.
What's happening now at Preah Vihear is a repeat of the 1960s.

Hun Sen is a PM with numerous college degrees and many stars on his shoulders; he should know a long time ago that the bilateral talks would not work.
His choice of not seeking the UN help was beyond the majority of ordinary Cambodian comprehension. That is why you see on left side of this blog he has been branded as “TRAITOR” in many languages, and the truth hurts him very bad. Because of all the miseries that he has given to the nation, this mother fucker should not be born as Khmer, let alone being a PM.
You will see many Cambodian dancing on the streets when he will be toppled.

After reading this, I feel no sympathy for the Thai soldiers who have died. They have been harassing Cambodia for a very long time, their followers are now doing the same thing. This letter should be shared to EVERYONE so that the world may know that the Thai are the aggressors always have been and always will be.

Voila, this is a good piece of document that should be disseminated and published to the public. The current Hun Sen government should consider all this to constitute the "dossier" to go before the UN security council. No more bilateral talk, the Thais will recommence its barbarian agression in the future. They have taught their children the false story on this issue and their Royal palace gives firm support for their claim on Preah Vihear ownership.

In WWII during the Japanese occupation of Indochina, and because of the weakness of the colonial French, the Thai took the opportunity to occupy Battambang, Sisophon and Siem Reap. They have played the same trick over and over, but this time they blame the Cambodian as aggressors. But their make up story won’t sell.
That is why they don’t like to have the UN as mediator, because everything is documented and they will lose the case, but our stupid PM bit their baits.
That means what happens now is not about politics in Thailand, but because the Thai do not respect the international law. This time we need to push hard for the resolution, or Thailand will keep bullying Cambodia again and again in the future.
I understand but if US run away from war it is mean simple lost war. US had used chemical warfare in Vietnam and Cambodia. US murdered 1000 thousands of innocent Cambodians life’s including babies, young kids, women, pregnant women, men, elderly... during at that period by B 52, chemical warfare. US must be a world lead who must take fully responsible for war crime against humanitarians and human right, if there is a real justice system is have.
Please America find justice for Cambodians people that US army murdered at that time. Where are human right group, united nation, and world court for that??
Thailand has been kicking Cabodia around for centuries. It is now time to bite back! For this, it is recommend:
- Cambodians people need to be united as foreign agression is the enemy number 1;
- Cambodia public administration and judicial system need to be strengthened to provide better public services and imrpove the rule of law;
- And related to above, build a strong economic foundation so that Cambodia would become wealthy;
-Once Cambodia becomes wealthy, Cambodia would have sufficient resources and strength to repel the Thai agressors.
Deal all fellow Cambodians, ask yourself what youb can do for our country (famous speech by J.F. Kennedy)...
I noted someone rightly said in the previous discussion that Cambodia will need to stress the legality of Cambodia's defense of national integrity. It does not matter much who fired the first shot. The bottom line is that the fightings took place in the Cambodian territory!
