The Indian Embassy tonight released a statement saying that it sought a clarification from the Foreign Ministry regarding Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya's remarks related to India on the situation along Thai-Cambodian border.
Kasit later informed the Indian ambassador Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty that the remarks were a result of insufficient information. During the Senate testimony on Wednesday, Kasit included India among those countries that might have backed Cambodia's aggression against Thailand on February 4.
He also expressed appreciation for the balanced and constructive position of India on this matter.

Kasit must explain to Russia and China as well. This guy is not suitable as an FM or a diplomat. He's more appropriate to hold a position in the under world gangsters of Bangkok.
