SRP MP Mu Sochua said yesterday that she met with Aung San Suu Kyi, the leader of the opposition National League for Democracy party, at her party headquarters in Rangoon, during Mrs. Mu Sochua’s visit there with the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) last week. Mrs. Mu Sochua indicated that she met with Aung San Suu Kyi to share experience in the construction of the civil society, in the lifting of human rights and democracy in Cambodia and Burma which are both under the rule of dictatorial regimes for the past several decades.
