Prime Minister Abhisit is setting his own path to destruction by publicly linking the two detained Thais in Cambodia with domestic politics.
As the prime minister, he and his government have the duty to protect citizens, whether they are in Thailand or abroad, and regardless of whether they are Democrats, yellow shirts or red shirts.
The harsh sentences on Veera and Ratree are blown out of proportion. They were caught in an unclear and disputed border area that has yet to be verified. No respected leader of any country would allow nationals to be held in custody unanswered. In similar cases last year, former US President Clinton flew to North Korea to secure the release of two US citizens. China also successfully pressured Japan to release the ship captain caught in disputed maritime territory. It is time for Mr Abhisit to show his true courage to secure, or attempt to do so without any bias, the release of his fellow citizens.

The PADs talk just like they're little kids. Cambodian soldier dare not crossing into Thailand to arrest the PADs. They must have entered Cambodia intentionally or unintentionally. So no more pretext and talk baloney. Be responsible and respect the Cambodian jurisdiction.
It is time that Thai PM to arrest those trouble makers, PAD leaders.
They have caused too many problems for both Thais and Cambodians.

We want new leader who cares for our family economy, social economy and justice for the society. We can't let this guy rule Cambodia forever? Cambodia justice is no properly practice. The rich is robbing the poor and this is very injustice toward the poors.

The Nation is comparing orange and apple! Now in the case of North Korea and the North Korean kidnapped those American citizens and accused them of spying on North Korea! As for Japan and China, the disputed territory didn't go all the way to the World Court unlike Cambodia!
Now...It is one thing for Siem PM to protect Siem citizen if foreign government especially Cambodian government unjustly violated the Siem people human right! But for the Siem PM to protect Siem people for breaking the law of another country such as Cambodia and become criminals is another thing!
The Siem leaders thuggish and belligerent behavior will not be tolerated and Siem naked aggression will not be rewarded!
