It is amazing video. I have seen this before and it is still entertaining, but what serious theme about this video is telling us that when we are ORGANIZED even the weak can win... But this does not implying anything about taking over Hun Sen government who has no respect for human life. I still do think this government will kill its own people again... not to protect the nation but to protect his power, his families, and all his friends assets. But only time will prove this evil government will go if it has no respect the people and the nation it serves.

Tear came to wet my eyes as I watched this powerful video.

I take the meaning of this video in a different context and apply it to our Cambodian people between the lions in the east on the one hand and the crocodiles in the west on the other.

The lions are obviously the Vietnamese and the crocodiles trying to get at the young buffalo when he or she is in the water are the Thais who take every opportunity to try to get a share of the meat or game.

The buffaloes are indeed the Cambodians. They are very strong and powerful when united and yet they have forgotten far too long the very basic common sense of the power of unity that can make them stand out again proudly in South East Asia. They are also too nice to their neighbours and too harsh to their own family members.

Look at the video again and you can see the weakness and the strength of the buffaloes.

The strategic mistake the buffaloes make is the fact that they allow the lions to continue to kill the young buffaloes after they (the lions) have got a hold of the young buffalo. A number of bullafoes should have come in to help free the young one while some of them would urge or call upon the rest of the buffaloes to join in to help.

When the buffaloes at the end came and surrounded the lions, they were too slow to try to free their young one either due to fear, hesitation, disagreement among themselves on how to proceed or a lack of prompt unity at all cost to face the common enemies.

There is only one ouststanding very courageous buffalo that risked his or her life to start the process of rescuing while the rest just stood there forming a circle around the enemies, but actually not doing very much to help.

A few of the buffaloes later on took the example of the most courageous one and began to assault the lions in order to help free the young buffalo successfully.

In the end with their number, they should have taught the lions, since they can, a very good lesson of never trying again to harm them or their young ones. They are simply too nice to their always enemy in this case the lions whose desire for meat will never end.

Cambodians are not spontaneously united to protect other Cambodians and their territory. Everyone goes his or her own way when it comes to helping each other and be united for the common good of their country and society.

Look at the cruel and unjust evictions by the Phnom Penh government of the poor people from their homes and you can see that there has been not much public outcry to help those poor compatriots among the more fortunate Cambodians whose homes are not affected.

When one among them is courageous enough to fight to protect the whole group and their interests and young ones in the herd, the othere strong ones wait or delay too long to come to his or her assistance.

As a race, we are too nice to our enemies and too cruel and so indifferent to suffering of our own kind.

Look at the buffaloes and you can see that with so many of them already surrounding the lions, why would they not work in unison to destroy these lions completely. After all, these lions will always be their enemies ready as always to kill them (the buffaloes).

oh stop it, nonsense, it's just nature in africa and silly to compare this to cambodia, etc! remember, people on this planet are all the same, the only difference is who influence us, how we became educated, who we affiliate with, how we think, who we came in contact with, etc, etc, ok! so, stop the nonsense comparison, ok! cambodia is cambodia, if siem and youn have problem with that, they both can go to hell, as far as i'm cambodia is concerned, ok! cambodia reserved the rights to be cambodia always, ok! siem and youn thugs, historical enemies of khmer people and cambodia have no rights to take advantage of cambodia, etc, ok! god bless cambodia and all our beautiful khmer people and citizens.

6:49 AM, you are an idiot!

6:49 AM,

You are not that stupid to see the logic behind the comparison, but you are in denial and keep denying the fact and keep asking the nonexistent god, whatever he is, to bless your country.

Keep doing nothing and keep calling the god-damned god to help you and you are certainly an idiot!

Your god was nowhere to be found during the Khmer Rouge regime so he is a dead god anyway.

If I were waiting for him to bless Cambodia and not go to work to earn a living, I would have been dead long time ago.

When you meet your imaginable god, please tell him I want to kick his ass!
