A source from Phnom Penh informed us that former SRP MP Mao Monyvann, who recently announced his resignation from his position as MP from Kampong Cham province, will soon defect to join the ruling CPP party.
Radio Free Asia reported on 12 March 2011 that Mao Monyvann indicated “that he is not joining any political party and that he will remain with the SRP forever.” If indeed, Mao Monyvann were to join the CPP, he would be breaking another promise he made on RFA.

Anybody that joined CPP cannot leave CPP alive, you will kill or in prison for life and pay fines. All CPP members brainwashed and re-educations in Vietnam.
Politician as a career and politician as a nationalist are not the same. Everyone has its own choice, and the value of reality comes along with. We know that CPP member cannot defect from its own party because they will get killed which's different from SRP, a democratic party.
I do smell something fishy behind the scene. Why did he leave SRP in such a critical time? Did he get offended by his own party's member(s)? Well, if his heart is not with SRP, then there's no need of keeping his body.
Come on, Mr. Mao Monyvann, don't be shy. Think of $$$, villa, Land cruiser, young girls, one wife, two wives, even 3-4.

Mao Monyvann can not get rich by being a member of SRP. He would abandon his stance as the nationalist opposition, abandon his fight, for human rights, abandon his own dignity just so that he can be another bitch-dog of the CPP.
I guess to some, a Land Cruiser, a Rolex watch, and lost of dignity is more worth than uniting Cambodians to rise up against oppression, corruption, poverty and knowing full well you helped saved a nation from the brink of oblivion.
Dr. Hun Sen 's families, relatives and friends will get hit by NATO missiles soon after Mr. Sam Rainsy give green light to NATO collision force.
Imagine 1000 NATO missiles hit Dr. Hun Sen families, relative and friends that will be awsome news to 90% poor cambodian people. We will celebrate 7 night and 7 days non stop in every villages.

Please beware! The Khmer Post Newspaper and Radio owner/director Meach Sovannara is a Hun Sen spy. He receives his funding from the CPP Party.
Just think, Sovannara is the only newspaper writer who can critize Hun Sen and at the same time can enter Cambodia freely! Something is not right there. If he's not with the CPP Party, Sovannara would be locked in jail or dead a long time ago! He's no Sam Rainsy!
Mr. Rainsy is a true Khmer heroic, patriotic, nationalist whom I hornor the most.
A few in the party might not be the spy but rather feeling resentment for some reason and then either leave or defect and that is noraml.

Sam Rainsy can cry a river. Sam Rainsy can kneel down and beg the west to topple Hun Sen's regme. At the end, nobody cares about Cambodia. We got no oil. We have nothing to have the interest from the West and the U.S. There is no way the West and the U.S will strike Cambodia with force. Not in a billion years unless there is another Vietnam War. If they want democracy in Cambodia, they would go to Burma, North Korea, Laos, and Vietnam long before Cambodia. You guys got wishful thinking there.
Keep us inform, you will see more srp defect to other parties and mainly to cpp. Money is the main reason and plus the leader of srp has no power or not even a seat in congress. SRP is becoming weaker each day. In order to stop it from more defection, SRP needs a new leader, elect a new leader, rainsey is over.

1-Mao monivann and a group of SRP MP and some grass roots SRP leadership will join HRP next week.2-SRP want to change their platt form that what the way HRP wanted but HRP have to move under SRP unbrella on the mane of SamRaisy party.
3-If the king can't pardon him,he will deal direct with Youn to help him to return to Politic.
What's the smart move of Sam rainsy.
When Mao Monyvann was MP of SRP, he is a good guy, but when he feed up with SRP and join the CPP, he becomes a bad guy. Mao Monyvann is not a first guy to join the CPP and also not the last person who join the rulling party. Who know next one could be Son Chhay or Mu Sokhua? Please watch out a criple SRP.
SRP is a family party which is dominated by a mad dog Yim Sovan's family and a gambler Eang ChhayEng's family. Both families don't really like each other and try to compete with one another until tear SRP into pieces.
Eang ChhayEng regards himself as a old wolf and will never forgiven Yim Sovan's family that took his SRP Secretary General's position. He is waiting when the time is coming, he will bite back and retake his old position.
SRP like a snake which is body in Cambodia, but its head is in France. SRP look at your own backyard first, before comes to criticize the government.
