what else is new with the stupid KR? they are the world most abusive of human rights at that time, you know! cambodia and khmer people and everyone else who got trapped in cambodia during that time all suffered horribly and lived in terror days and nights for for 3 years 8 months 20 days until they are ousted by defectors, etc! the way of stupid KR regime was pure ignorance, if you ask me, ok! there were a lot of ignorant people that ran the stupid KR regime, however, i don't blame those people because it was the previous regime that did not give them equal opportunity to education, etc, really! so, now, thank god, cambodia is much better and much improved in terms of opportunity to education, freedom, etc, etc... that said, of course, there are still a lot of works to be done in terms of reforms, etc in cambodia, ok! like education, it doesn't stop at graduation, ok; it's a life learning process for as long as we live, you know! god bless cambodia.

After coming from working in the field one evening, a group of people were called to the meeting.

There, their name were paired and pronounced husband and wife.

It was dark after the ceremony, they headed to the kitchen, some newly-wed were separated and and there were some confusion because some couple did not know each other.

One girl asked a guy;

" Pou, are you the guy who I just married with?"

No, i am not, it was "mith" Soum.

One guy asked another girl;

"Mith Neary, are you the one that I just got married with?"

he girl, No, your wife were Mith Neary Roeun.,

it is stupid to force people to marry someone they never met or were in love with! no wonder a lot of kill got killed this way as well, you know!

by the way, this was how the famous khmer singer, ms. ros sereysothea was killed by the stupid KR people! she was forced to get married to a crippled, abuse old villager where she was settled in after the evacuation of phnom penh. and i'm sure ms. ros sereysothea wasn't alone like this situation. stupid KR are the world most abusive and ignorant type of people on this planet during that time, really!

Khmer rouges forced you to marry because they considered you as one of them.
For the people fron the cities, they did not talk about wedding and they forced to work hard,
they gave less food and they killed when they wanted.
