In Cambodia, rice noodle is considered delicious and
luxurious food. In KR regime, KR cadre criticize that the noble eat noodle, drink coffee while the poor eat watery rice. now the noble is Yuon and the poor is Khmer.
When seeing this photograp of a child being cleaning shoe. My tea is dropped, my poor son is still a little boy works for the living.
Injustice!
In Cambodia where the rich get richer, the poor get stomped on, we realize that how little the ruling party have been doing for the street children since seizuring power in Phnom Penh. Being a shoeshine before the coup d'etat, my heart bleeds when I saw this little shoeshine in the picture.
So regretable! When will our Khmer kids be smiling and happy and they can go to school without a worry. God please help Cambodia.

Khmer children do not need a changes from the heartless people and the heartless regime. What kind of future is the Hun's regime build for khmer future?
I heard this from the old Khmer says - Pranorkor Rolum, Phnom Penh Rolay, Batambang Krat Kray, Sabay Angkor Wat by the The Thai making children to be shoes polishers. In fact khmer now event become servant all over Asia, Mother Khmers cannot take care her children, she has to go to other countries to take care other nations children in other to earn money to feet her children. Where are the Khmer father? What are they doing? Too much young girls, too much drink? Take no responsible for your children? Bit up your wife, make her to make money to fit you and your children? What low life Khmer's men are? All the Khmer men that are not take care their children--- I just want to tell you that your are worst than a dog!!!! Your life is not worth living! Might as well kill yourself and stop poluting the earth!
so any people who can afford to eat noodle are Vietnamese? Cambodian's problem is to color each other as this or that faction. Old habit is hard to change and that's why we are still here in 18th century I guess.
I don't see any problem. The little boy is just trying to make a living for himself. Cambodia peasant mentality is that the kids have to work to feed themselves or their parents. The only problem that i see here, is why the Police don't arrest this boy and kick him out form Phnom Penh. Cambodia deserves to be a richer country and by kicking out and letting the poor die from starvation, we can reach the objective to have only Lexus and luxurious villas in Phnom Penh. This is the reverse from the Khmer Rouge regime (kill the rich and feed the poor; now it is kill the poor, feed the rich).
As long as the majority of cambodian people still uneducated and vote for the same who make them suffer, i don't see any problem. They deserve what they have voted for...
Hurrah Cambodia ! We will be the richest Nation in the future ! (as raised above, by letting the poor die by themselves, hehe).

The picture of this Khmer boy shows the Khmer entrepreneurial spirit in today global economy! I see nothing wrong in this picture because this little boy will grow up to be entrepreneur because he understands the value of money and work ethic at such an early age! This is a smart boy and he takes his work seriously and soon he will outgrow his shoe shine business into bigger business that will make more money and it will not stop there and he will keep going until he is satisfied with his life!
If I am poor have children and I give him or her the same freedom to work like this Khmer boy at an early age without the give up of going to school! This remind me during the Khmer Rouge era and the slogan go "If you work and you deserve to eat!" How many of you deserve to eat without working?
Please have a heart and blame no anybody for your failure in life because life in not fair and it is brutal and it is your responsibility to make the best of life!
