Letter to The Cambodia Daily
A few weeks ago, I wrote a paper about the so-called «disputed area» around the Preah Vihear Temple which was published in the Cambodia Daily. In that article I tried to explain that, from the legal point of view of the Ruling of the International Court of Justice of June 15, 1962, there is no such «disputed area».
It looks as though I have been unsuccessful as, in his «Premier Warns Thais Away From Border Pagoda» report of March 15, 2011 edition of the Cambodia Daily, Phorn Bopha still mentioned the so-called «disputed area».
Once and for all, I would like to explain to all the Cambodian journalists and reporters and to my beloved fellow compatriots that we, Khmers, cannot write or say «disputed area» around the Preah Vihear Temple without conceding that the judgement of the ICJ is unclear - which is completely untrue -, and without renouncing our sovereign rights over the area surrounding Preah Vihear - which is totally unacceptable.
In order to describe the dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over that plot of land, the right expression would be «the area claimed by Thailand». So, I beg all the Cambodian journalists and reporters: Please, do not to use the expression «disputed area» anymore, in order to respect the legacy of the King-Father who brought the case before the Court in 1959, and who was given justice in 1962.

Mr. Rainsy Sam is the victim of injustice but American goverment can't do anything because Hun Sen gives some of benefit to American goverment at 2012 ( oil ). So American won't talk about human right as much anymore. American only scream loud if Hun Sen don't give american some oil.
People of Cambodia and all the victims you must understand that American goverment as well as other are just interesting in benefit only ( oil ) and noone will help cambodians if cambodians don't help themself.
Before oil find, Cambodia and Thailand have no war but after oil is confirm the war between Thai and Khmer begin. The reason behind thses are the super power countries like American, China, England are waiting to do more business trade in selling weapons to Khmer. They are known very well that Hun Sen will do anything to get best weapons to defence himself so he will trade cheap oil with them.
Imagine some of the countries at Africa have no resouce American seem to stay far far away from them and they don't scream much about Human Right! because there are no benefit as much as they scream about human right at Iraq.

Viet/Youn Hanoi will get massive pressure from the powerful countries or international communities and Hanoi will be bombed with a nuclear bombed to destroyed the bastards along with learning lessons and warning. Youn/Viet Hanoi had done the secret plans to create the Killing Fields while Pot Pol was toppled by secret Youn/Viet agents from Hanoi. Millions of Khmer people including foreigners (including journalist) had been murdered or slaughtered by secret/hidden Viet agents (who spoke and wrote Khmer language very well) more than Pol Pol and Pol Pot's members. Those secret and dirty plan by Viet/Youn Hanoi had been caught in the eyes of Khmer people and foreigners during the Killing Fields. You are the bastard to say such things because you have been brainwashed by Youn/Viet Hanoi masters and you served Bind Hun Sen. Get out Cambodia and live somewhere else. Khmer people are uprising and they are dying to fight to take down Youn/Viet masters and Hun Sen including his evil Youn wife. Get out bastard. Khmer people do this for their own children's future.
thailand want to get some land from cambodia because vietnam take all like that .they feel so upset . it's not 4.6 km square like every body said thay want more than that and they will do somthing you will see .

Imagine 20000 Khmers in front of the united Nation in New York with Flyers telling the world about Hun Sen's Regime. Khmer leader must fix a date for a giant protest in front of the United Nation. All Khmer must contribute their power as a people to make it possible, even you need to travel across the globe. This is a real people’s power. Imagine that type of protest with a big number of people, New York Street will become blocked because of a big number of the people. United States and all government in world will start to open their eyes. Then the peace accord on October 23rd, 1991, will automatically speak. We know that Khmer inside the country are traumatized with the atrocity of Hun Sen’s Regime. For myself, I am ready to buy my plane ticket because we must fulfill our task as Khmer citizen (Kaon Khmer). We must understand that our country become as today under Youn control because we aren’t united. When we are united, the people power will be created. Don’t waste our Khmer life inside Cambodia because Youn do not afraid to kill us. All Khmer leader in abroad must be united first,Dr. Venrable Hok Sovann, Honorable Sam Rainsy, Dr. Tith Naranh Kiri, Mr. Soun Serey ratha, Mr. Tach Gnoc Tach Mr. Sean Peng Se, Khmer mchas srok and many more. We have no time to lose.

Yes, there is no such thing as "disputed land", which is never been recognized by Cambodia!
I guess the Khmer staff working might not use the words "disputed land". This notion of disputed land might have been imposed by their editors.
Be prepared this 23/October/ 2011 coming.

it's good to educate the journalists and the media to say or quote or use fact and stop mentioning something that is not legally right like saying the area was in dispute when according to the international treaty and the icj verdict it's not! i think a lot of time the people in the media seemed to inflame or exacerbate the so-called dispute area to make it make the international treaty of 1907 is not legal and the icj is not legal, etc. so, people in the media should stop writing or saying something that is wrongly reported in the first place. again, only the law on paper counts!

What do you think of the King Father's legacy of working side by side with the Khmer Rouge, the Vietcong and the North Vietnamese against the Khmer Republic of General Lon Nol between 1970 and 1975?
I am glad that Prince Thomico decides to offer his opinion on the matter, but can Prince Thomico also offer his opinion about the Khmer territory that are being taken over by the YUONs. Prince Thomico also needs to own up to the legacy of his royal ancestors who fought each other like dogs and cats and opening up the opportunties for the YUONs to swallow Khmer territory along with the Khmer Krom people. This, Prince Thomico needs to spend some time to reflect and write a paper on and forward it to the Cambodia Daily also. Prince Thomico needs to realize that it was his royal ancestors that mismanaged the entire Khmer Empire and led to its dismemberments by these predatory settlers of YUONs and Tai ancestry. What about the huge land loss to the Lao settlers, does Prince Thomico ever think of those Khmer people who now consider them as one of them "Lao citizens"?
