No Reservations host Anthony Bourdain recently visited Cambodia, where he sampled the country's very special fast food: "Happy Pizza." Sprinkled with a "powerful herbal supplement, it's the pizza that makes you insane in the membrane," Bourdain reports.

Though he scarfs down the whole pie, Bourdain remains typically coy about his intake of controlled substances. "Cures glaucoma, I hear," the traveling gourmand quips. "The crust could be a little crispier. But really, what's more important - crispy crust or a crispy diner?"

Watch new episodes of No Reservations on the Travel Channel at 9 pm EST on Mondays.

To the above comments,
What do you expect from a Travel Channel? It is not the Food Network channel! Even poor African countries get a visit by the show. Therefore, every country deserves to be noticed on the travel channel.

1:06pm,

You sound pretty close-minded and ignorant.

Cambodia INDEED has much to offer. As a result of decades of war, Cambodia was never able to elevate itself to the levels of what Thailand and Vietnam had achieved in terms of promoting its culinary richness inside the country as well as overseas and inviting the world to explore its cuisines. Cambodia has only begun doing so within the last 4-5 years and the world will soon begin to catch on as Cambodian cuisine is promoted much more and the Khmer culinary arts flourishes much more.

I suggest they cut down on MSG if they want more smarter people in Cambodia. MSG affect the brain can cause a normal person to be dumb.

Even in America, MSG is about in everything. Maybe the Communist are succeeding in America by laden the food with MSG to alter the brain on a person from reasonable thinking.

There are a lot of healing herbs to be had in Cambodia. Let your food be your medicine and not the drugs that you can buy from the drug stores.

Who cares what the world think if your country have the best cuisine. What matter are the people healthy in what they consume and not depending on drugs because of poor diet.

Cambodia has everything for one's health and well being as far as herbs, vegetables and fruits goes.
But having the knowledge how to utilize them properly is what maybe lacking.
