Electricity restored in O’Smach town

Electricity power provided from Surin province, Thailand, to Cambodia’s O’Smach and Samrong towns, as well as the entire province of Oddar Meanchey which was cut off on 26 April, and was restored at 11AM on 27 April along the O’Smach border area. The information was provided by Vat Parany, the government director of the Oddar Meanchey provincial office, to Rasmei Kampuchea newspaper on 27 April. Regarding the cutoff of electricity from Thailand, some claimed that it was because shells hit on electric pole.
