Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa is scheduled to arrive in Cambodia Monday to sign deal to help monitor on border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand, a government official said Sunday.

Koy Kuong, spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said Sunday that Marty Natalegawa will be arriving in Phnom Penh on Monday to meet with Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and will sign the earlier arranged term of reference on observers to be placed at the so called "disputed area."

He did not elaborate on details of the term of reference or whether he will discuss with Hor Namhong on the latest clash.

Koy Kuong also declined to comment on whether Marty will talk with his boss on the latest clashes between Cambodian and Thai troops that were stuck in fighting for over the past three consecutive three days since Friday morning.

According to Koy Kuong, Marty and Hor Namhong will meet with reporters after their meeting and will extend his flight to Bangkok later in the same day.

Cambodia and Thai troops have been exchanged fires in the area of Ta Moan and Ta Krabey temples in Cambodia's Oddar Meanchey province.

Phay Siphan, spokesman of the Office of the Council of Ministers said Sunday afternoon that the fighting between the two troops was paused after 1 p.m. (local time), but it resumed after 3 p.m. on the same day.

No immediate report on casualties made available as of Sunday afternoon.

The military clash reoccurred just more than two months after the deadly clash on Feb. 4 to 7 at the border disputed area next to Preah Vihear temple, the World Heritage Site.

Indonesia, the current chair of the regional bloc of ASEAN, has offered to send monitors to the disputed area near the Preah Vihear temple, and the UN and ASEAN have called on both sides to resolve the conflict through a peaceful way.

Cambodia expressed its welcome. But the meetings held earlier this month in Indonesia failed to resolve the situation.
