in cambodia, i don't think it was just hun sen that was corruption then, it was like everybody, the whole country was corruption, really! thank god, it is now sort of waning out due to new anti-corruption law, etc... even in the older regime were all corrupted, maybe except stupid KR regime that was not so corrupted, but the stupid KR killing and backwardness was something else, you know! anyway... at least this current administration is doing something about it for a start! of course, there are still a lot of work to be done, like anything else, really!

if the head (hun sen) is totally rotten corrupted to the ass how are you going to expect the body (the population) to be cleaned.

Only university graduated like missir Khmer in Sydney CBD would support an evil like this. No University degree like myself, I would not interested to talk nor to bother for any leadership of this kind because I don't need his help and a job from him.
I would rather support people with high integrity and with principle and to have care for their own people and work for their own people.
It shames that we have so many PhD like khmer in Sydney and couldn't find a job in a real world and must work for evils ( Former Khmer rouge
killers and for vietcong ) to destroy their own country and destroy their own people.I wonder why these PhD got nowhere but to bark for regime which export their people for being slaves of other nation as home maid. I believe one day, they have no one to export, they have export their wife and their daughters to be slaves.

A message to Hun Sen
Ivory Coast's elected president used his troops and French tanks and air power to oust strongman Laurent Gbagbo, ending their four-month standoff on Monday by pulling him from his burning residence.

Images of Gbagbo being led into a room in a white undershirt were broadcast on television as proof of his capture even as he refused to sign a statement formally ceding power after losing November's election.

Gbagbo could be forced to answer for his soldiers' crimes...

Gbagbo's dramatic arrest came after days of heavy fighting during which French and U.N. helicopters fired rockets at arms depots around the city and targets within the presidential compound. Ouattara's final push began just after French airstrikes ceased at around 3 a.m. Monday.

Gbagbo was tired and had been slapped by a soldier, but was not otherwise hurt...

It was really pity to see a once time a strongman and then an hour later become a criminal like Saddam Hussein. Hun sen should look at the scene very carefully and must make his own judgement before everything is too late.
If a man can judge at the right time and at the right moment, he will be a sage. But if he still is fooled his own power and obsessed by his stolen wealth, he will be regretted at his old age like Khiev Samphann, Nuon Chea and Ieng Sary.
We must realize that a man can only live for 80-90 years of healthy ages. After that everyone has to die. Why you need to create so much of bad karmas for yourself? Can't you live with honesty, politely and by good wisdom?
If you steal too much from your fellow citizen, you will produce a lot of offspring's whose will be the next evils of your family.
They are growing with criminal activities and they will end up in jail.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the arrest of defeated Ivory Coast President Laurent Gbagbo sends a message to dictators that they cannot disregard the verdict of free elections. The United States had strongly backed the internationally-recognized winner of last year’s election, Alassane Ouattara.

The United States had supported the African Union and United Nations effort to dislodge Gbagbo with financial and travel sanctions. And welcoming his surrender, Clinton said the episode makes clear there will be consequences for leaders who defy the results of free elections.

“This transition sends a strong signal to dictators and tyrants throughout the region and around the worlds," she said. "They may not disregard the voice of their own people in free and fair elections, and there will be consequences for those who cling to power.”

Clinton, who spoke at a joint press event with Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb, called for all Ivory Coast citizens to remain calm and help build a peaceful future for the country, saying that after the five-month crisis, the hard work is only now beginning.

In early December, The United States congratulated Mr. Ouattara as the rightful winner of the country’s November 28 election and called for then-President Gbagbo to accept the internationally-endorsed outcome and step aside.

With Gbagbo, the country’s leader since 2000, refusing to yield, the United States joined in international sanctions against his government, and imposed targeted U.S. travel and financial curbs against Gbagbo, his wife, and other close associates.

Clinton said the United States looks forward to working with President Ouattarra as he implements plans for reconciliation, economic development and recovery.

The political conflict, which devolved into warfare between supporters of the two political rivals, dealt a severe blow to the Ivory Coast economy, with Gbagbo looting local banks and businesses as the world community severed economic ties with his government.

Look at Hilary Clinton quoted “This transition sends a strong signal to dictators and tyrants throughout the region and around the worlds," she said. "They may not disregard the voice of their own people in free and fair elections, and there will be consequences for those who cling to power.”

Hun Sen is dull, dumb, and greedy man.
He is destroying everything in Cambodia;he is an evil man.He was a lay kid,but he didn't know and any words of Buddha.
It was o true what V.Sina drew in this cartoon. The words in Khmer writing in front of Hun Sen were so true.Hun Sen is a big liar.He is a traitor.Hun Sen lets 6,000,000 Vietnamese immigrants live in Cambodia and many more are coming.
There are 20,000 Vietcong in seven rubber plant fields.
There are much more Village leaders, commune leaders, town or city leaders in some parts of Cambodia.
Cambodia will be like Lao,Khmer Krom, and Champa.
