PHNOM PENH, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Foreign visitors to Cambodia increased by an on-year 14 percent to 778,467 in the first quarter of this year, according to the statistics released by the Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday.
Of the figure, 55 percent traveled to Cambodia by air and the rest by land and water.
Among the top 10 tourist sources, Vietnamese rated first with 130,831, up 19 percent, South Korea second with 107,489, up 28 percent, and China third with 66,836, up 36 percent.
However, the report also showed that Thai tourists to Cambodia had declined up to 34 percent to 26,824 due to the border dispute between the two countries.
Tourism industry is one of the main four pillars supporting Cambodian economy. In 2010, the sector received 2.5 million foreign tourists generating a total revenue of 1.75 billion US dollars.

There is an urgency for Ministry of Tourism/Ministry of Health to order for all tourist related businesses to have proper, clean and functioning toilets especially when they sell food.
One example when I traveled from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville via Soriya bus company, at one of their stops along the way, the toilets were not properly constructed and filthy dirty not fit for human usage. Most tourists on the bus and locals alike resort to use mother nature or outside facility instead, except women who have no other choice used their toilets.
I think it is very bad impression for Cambodian tourism for any tourist to see such a thing from Cambodia.

cambodia can and should improve the hygienic and provide public restrooms in all areas all over cambodia from now on. even tourists need to use the restroom, too, you know! wake up and get educated already, ok! make more improvement to cater to tourists and make living standard in cambodia better, too, ok! start by learning from the world and by adopting and adapting to changes and new perspective, new thinking, paradigm shift, etc, etc, ok! it will serve cambodia and our khmer people well, ok! be smarter and wiser, ok! get with the program!

Making sure those dogs Yuon came to visited our country they going back to these country. Don't let them stay or live in our country. Right now I saw alot of those dogs Yuon live in Cambodian all over the place it's Khmer town or Yuon town why are Yuon were all over Cambodian ah stupidest CPP yuor must taking of this stupid thing asshole.
