According to Reuters, about 100 Cambodian activists attended a demonstration in Phnom Penh today appealing to the government to save the Prey Lang forest. They demanded the government stop granting economic land concessions and suspend all those already granted. The protesters, who call themselves Cambodia's "Avatars", had their bodies painted in green and blue and wore traditional ethnic Kuy clothes, including hats made from tree materials.
Watch a short film about the Prey Lang forest below. According to the filmmakers, up to 700,000 people rely on the forest for survival, as well as a number of endangered animals.

Stupid fake Cambodian government (CPP Yuon official thieves and Hun Sen) do not do anything to protect the forest and ecosystem.
Those idiots always care about money and get rich for nothing. Can't believe Hun Sen and CPP Yuon crooks always destroy natural environment. One day, there will be nothing for them (Yuon crooks and Hun Sen).
The Govt under Hun Sen/CPP's Viet are very greedy for millions Dollars before they by ages what the destiny of Khmer land to be is for them egal because most of them are working for for babarian foregner(?). Not only in Cambodia, in Laos is the same. But who stand behind those crook Govt?
The suggestion of buying credits from the government to protect Prey Lang is very good considering the stupidity and irresponsibility of the current Cambodian government which tends to sell anything for cash to support their mismanagement of the resources on a large scale and their living standards.
This is like your neighbours paying you with cash to keep your house from being dismantled so that it can stand and make the neighbourhood look good and you don't even care where your children will sleep or live once your house has been dismantled because all you want now is to satisfy your alcoholism and drug addiction.
Cambodia will never change in the short run under the current government and it seems that its grip on power is also very strong.
Hope lies with the education of the younger generation so that the population can become much smarter and will make it very hard or impossible for a government to do anything it wants irresponsibly.
The CPP gets away with murder in its management of the country because of the passiveness and oblivion of the majority of Cambodians who either don't care or are not well informed or both.
It is sad indeed to see the dangers Prey Lang is facing. It seems that the Kouys with no formal education understand much better the necessity of the forest than the city people who love to consider themselves highly educated!

all Khmers in Phnom Penh know about this but Cambodia belong to Hun Xen's how the other Khmers do, waiting untill the day for die and no Khmer land. That is the result.
1- illiterate Dr. Hun Sen and illiterate Dr. Bun Rany do not know what ecosystem is.
2- These two illiterate doctors are so powerful because they are empowered by Yuon and they are destroying Khmer people, Khmer land, and Khmer identity.

Cambodia is a place to be destroyed until there is nothing remain then there is nothing more to destroy! But it doesn't stop there as you can see during the Pol Pot regime and Pol Pot start using Cambodian people as fertilizer and turn them into the beast of burden to work on the land! There are many great ideas in the book but this is what Pol Pot want to do!
AH HUN SEN regime is no different then that of the Pol Pot regime and if he is so stupid not to learn anything from the book but at least learn something from the people who lived there for thousand of years and the indigenous people know what work and what doesn't work!
If AH HUN SEN is so dumb fuck, he needs to use his eyes but his eyes are blind! Then he needs to use his ear to listen to people for wisdom but his hundred and thousand of his advisors feed him wrong and toxic information. What is left for Cambodia is the way of Pol Pot...that is to destroy Cambodia to make progress!
