BANGKOK, 6 May 2011 -Deputy Director-General of the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor, Mr. Prawit Kengpol has reported no labor abuse or violence since the border battle started but admitted that hiring Cambodian workers to work in Thailand has been slow.

According to Mr. Prawit, there are currently 151,119 Cambodian workers making a living in Thailand. Most of them have found jobs in Songkhla, Chon Buri, Rayong, Samut Sakhon and Samut Prakarn provinces. Each year the number of Cambodian migrants continues to grow. It is almost impossible not to hire them while labor shortage is posing concerns on the economy of the country.

The lives of Cambodian workers in Thailand have not been affected by the clashes over the Thai-Cambodian border. Officials overseeing migrant labors across the country have been told to assure these migrants are living here unharmed.

The Deputy Director-General of the Department of Employment adds that any of these legal migrants can return to Cambodia at anytime they wish if the situation over the overlapping territory exacerbates.

Obviously, Thai is a country that look down on its Asian while worship the white! It has been kowtow to white since the last 200 years. Well, except when they felt threaten by Japanese, they turned around killed the White, switched side with Japanese-and when Japanese lost the war, they switched back to kowtow the American. Talking about moral priciple, Thai got none. Knowing Cambodia weak, they started the war and then point the finger that we started the war. what the fuc!? Such a bully! I never like the bully in school and I never like the bully Thai!

4:28 PM,

Why do you always hate White or Western? You are one of Yuon/Vietcong ugly folks on the planet who are a bunch of uneducated and backward thinking folks.

Your Vietgooks want to be a superpower like USA, UK or something, but it is not going to happen in Southeast Asia. Don't dream of such desires, Yuon bastards.

I assume you are mixed with Khmer-Yuon in your Yuon mother's womb.

Thailand intention is to wipe out Khmer culture completely. Yesterday I was in a grocery store and was about to buy a jar of bamboo shoot pickle made in Thailand. And then I read the description on the jar it reads "...for Thais, Vietnamese, and Laos dishes.." I was shock, wow, where is Cambodia? Another product is the Three Ladies rice, on the rice bag there are description in Thais, Vietnamese, and Laos. No where I could find any description written in Khmer for Cambodians. Thus this is not the first time I see many goods from Thailand omitting Cambodia country from the label on food products or give any credit to Khmer culture. Please, Cambodians/Khmers inside and outside of Cambodia, boycott all Goods made in or from Thailand.

Proud to be born a Khmer!

The 6,000,000 Vietnamese are flowing
in Cambodia.They keep flowing 2,000
people every month.
The Cambodians are moved out to look
for jobs in foreign countries.
Some of them never came back to see
their lovely country because they
hate Hun Sen and his officials.
