Cambodian rice is contolled by the Viet. Very sad!

8:05 AM,

Incorrect.

Cambodian rice is controlled by the Viets, the Thais and the Chinese.

Nothing in Cambodia is owned by Cambodians anymore.

The guy named Phannarith An may know more about Jasmine Rice ring.

Phannarith An...also works for Farmers Insurance

It is the first time Cambodia exports her own rice by herself rather than through Thailand or Vietnam.

Congratulations to Cambodia!

This is not ordinary people. They must be rich, and rich people in Cambodia like to take advantage of the poor.We would buy khmer's rice if we know that they paid reasonably fair to the farmers.

Well then, you guys can just keep buying other nations' rice and stop complaining if you see poor farmers in Cambodia.

My God, you need to know this and to know that before you buy a bag of rice.

Why don't you come to Cambodia and start a business of exporting rice to the US where you live right now?

And please don't forget to pay our beloved farmers reasonable price or it is even better if our farmers can also share your profit!

None of you sounds like a businessman and for that reason you can't help our farmers anyway.

Do you think the farmers can get a better deal by transporting what they produce in oxcarts all the way to Thailand?

What would they do if the Thais decide to offer a cheaper price?

Should they transport the rice back to wherever they live and wait until your so-called good businessmen come along and offer them a little bit better price?

I waiting for long time to eat my lovely home rice, but there is nothing at this side of world.

I don't care who produced it but at least Khmer character is written on the bag.

Cambodian rice is being exported monopoly by CPP member. This is also wrong against market economy where everyone can be participated.

Khmer mentality is anything homemade is no good.

Khmer classical music = pleng siem
Tiep fruit, the good one = Tiep Singapore
Popular banana = chek nam va
Good tasty bamboo shoot = tropaing srok chen
And the lists go on…
When are you going to wake up and be proud of who you are?

All I hear in this blog not thing but fight of words. Can we all khmer get along? Please, for crying out loud, just look at our country it is shrinking everyday. We are getting smaller and smaller because we can't even get along with each other khmers. look at our neighbor they are united and want to swallow up Cambodia.

$33.99 for 25 lbs, that seen too expensive. I hope it is more than 25 lbs.
Thai rice jasmine sells for $19.99 or $20.99 for $25 lbs at in Mass.
Don't ask me to be patriot to buy Cambodia's rice, where the price is too expensive if the weight is the same.

$33.99/25lbs,while the long grain Texas rice is about $8.99/25lbs .Fuck it's so expensive.See folks, this is how khmer is doing business. They want to maximize profit as much as they can.And they want you to eat khmer rice in the name of khmer spirit.Rip off.

$33.99 is for 50Lbs bag. NOT 25lbs. I don't give a dame who say what, but I know this rice is direct from Cambodia land, beautiful package and ofcourse KHMER letter printed on the bag. I heard the quality is not bad at all. I'll buy it to support khmer because I am Khmer. Stop being jealous people.
