It's explained why these children grow up unable to read and write.

Showing all those pictures to brainless people like Hun Sen and his supporters , do you think they have any feeling about it ? I think they don't.... because they are brainless.

Well, they have brain, except they are totally useless.

Khmer children are the builders of the nation, the CPP are the destroyers of the nation.

Hun Sen doesn't care, he needs to fill his pocket first. 30 years is still not full yet.

What's wrong with child labor? I think it is a very good thing for children to work when they are young.
After all, not every one of them could attend school if they are not working. Put them to work, unless they could attend school. Work them on non school days, not to the point of abusing them.

These young children are well disciplined, whereas the American kids are a bunch of spoiled brats. Having said that, let me say this: there's nothing wrong with helping out the family; plus, it's not uncommon in Cambodia when children helping out friends or family.

Children were abused badly in 1975-1979 during first Communist Pol Pot.Should second Communist stop acting brainwash? And do something better for Cambodian instead of Youn? Don't you think that 30 years are enough for you Mr Pol Sen?

Don't be political-correct, guys!

You just have to choose between going to school and find foods to fill in your stomach.

Some of these kids could be living with single parent, sick or handicapped, so they have to do what they have to do to survive.

Always like this for age in Cambodia.

They can not hang out with friends at the mall and there is no welfare check for their family.

I'm too sad to see these pictures. Why children have to suffer like this. How can you eat and sleep at night in an air-conditioning home when children like these go to sleep without having enough to eat. So sad.

shut up, child labor is nothing new in cambodia, ok! it's been like this for ages in cambodia, etc, ok! so, it's not gov't fault, instead i think gov't should reform the labor system in cambodia to so new law can be implemented to help discourage child labor, ok, not blaming, but help find solution. i think child labor is a problem in other parts of the world, take india for example, yes, go to india to see for yourself, not just in cambodia, ok! don't be so ignorant and bias and pick only on my country cambodia, ok! get educated already, please! it is a common site, but do make a real, lasting difference for cambodia, though! god bless all.

i think it is ok for children to help around the house, but they should all stay in school and study, not working full time or quit school under 18 year of age, really!

KI team, please post this if you can!

To Lok Prothean Sam Rainsy:

Have you spent a few minutes to think over and re-assess your progressive performance in the political arena so far? SWOT analysis from different perspectives will help!

- What defines Leadership to you?
- MPs Mu Sochua, Son Chhay & Mao Monivann and a few more are the core pillars of SRP. Ms. Mu has shown her great leadership skills. Everyday, she spends her time helping the poor Khmer victims. She refused to run away from the Kangaroo's court when come to injustice. You should not be afraid and stay in Cambodia. What can Hun Xen do to you? Instead, you will be gaining more popularity by showing your bravery/lealership. Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar dared to stay in the country even though she well knew that she risked her life. Nelson Mandela of S. Africa stayed in the prison for 27 years in exchange for true justice & freedom. That's the true leader.
- Stop painting the same Khmers. This is a lose-lose strategy. Speculation would lead to nowhere besides destroying our country.

The thing is not about CPP is stronger than SRP or HRP, but the opposition parties never learnt its past failure and refused to accept new ideas.

If SRP continues to run on the same status-quo platform with obsolete leadership skills, you will never ever be able to win the CPP/Youn Hun Xen.

Hope KI could help post this in your blog.

Best Regards,

SRP+HRP+All True Khmers > CPP/Youns!
