The Commerce Ministry is strictly monitoring cross-border trade with Cambodia for any fallout from Thailand's withdrawal from Unesco's World Heritage panel.
Commerce Minister Porntiva Nakasai said yesterday that the ministry would keep a close eye on the border situation, as it could affect export growth.
Cambodia accounts for 10 per cent of Thailand's total cross-border trade.
If any conflict surfaces, the ministry will immediately report it to the Cabinet at today's meeting, she said.

Cambodians all over the world are better off not to buy anything "Made in Thailand" -- These include bag of rice, chili sauce, soy sauce, curry powder, instant noodle... etc. Folks, look for the labels where they're made !!
Khmer must have the substitutes to boycott Thai products. Go start one...
i alway check and read the labels. if it's made in thailand or made in vietnam, forget it, i'm not buying that product. i prefer product made in the USA, made in cambodia, made in japan, made in france, made in indonesia, made in the philipines, made in malaysia, made in singapore, made in korea, made and china, etc, etc, definitely avoid at all cost those products made in thailand and made in vietnam. i do not wan to support these two countries, the enemies of cambodia, you know!
how long is this siem and youn economic superiority over cambodia going to last because from history, nothing good or bad can last forever, you know! god bless cambodia.
