The “Evaluation in the Media” conference is accepting paper proposals in the fields of media studies, communication, sociology, history, political science, linguistics and economics.
The conference is organized by the Université Paris 13 and Université Paris 8 and by the Université Paris Sorbonne – Celsa. It will also feature Wendy Espeland of Northwestern University as the guest speaker.

The purpose of the conference is to question the role of the media in the process of evaluation and how the evaluation process has become more linked to the media (press, radio, TV, web) in contemporary society.
