On Thursday, Thach Setha, President of the Khmer Krom Association, said that the Khmer Krom Association will hold a religious ceremony and will commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the loss of Kampuchea Krom on 04 June 2011 at the public park located in front of Botum Pagoda, in spite of the ban imposed by the Phnom Penh city hall. On 31 May, Kep Chuktema, the Phnom Penh city governor, issued a letter to Thach Setha, telling him that the city does not allow this commemoration because another Khmer Krom committee asked to hold this ceremony at the same location. Thach Setha said that the city is discriminating against Khmer Krom monks and people.

Why can do the ceremony together? who is the others party KhmerKrom? why can they united make only one big ceremony instead we've to divide two or three groups?

Concerning Khmer Krom, Khmer krom almost looks to Vietnamese poeple, because their styles, way of lives plus living under the Vietnam's rule. Khmer Krom has created a different flag NOT to relate with present flag with Cambodia in present day. This is how the world wonder that Khmer Krom is another country, the country does not relate to Cambodia. My openion I do not like Khmer krom's flag. It does not relate to Cambodia.
This part of the country is belonging to Vietnam,and Vietnam will do whatever keep this part as Vietnam.

If Khmer Krome is an independent country, then you can criticise them.
Khmer Krom were under Vietnam control
almost two centuries and France 90
years.They speak Vietnamese and
Cambodians.So they adapt to Vietnamese way,but they keep their
identities as Khmer.And how about
you are you American or Cambodian
way?Some of you just came to the
third world only 30 years,forgot
your own identities.
I am not Khmer Krom,but I love them
because they are Khmer.I love Khmer Surin,Khmer in Lao,and Khmer

I'm Khmer but I loves all Khmer people. I wishes Khmer Krom will get there indepedent pretty soon. I hated ah Yuon people to dead I can't stand when I heard them talking I just wanted to kills that idiots animals right away.
Khmer Krom is nothing, I see they are fighting like cat and dog. One side become yuon, oneside married with yuon, oneside become half yuon half khmer krom living and working for Hun sen, oneside created KKK of Thach Ngoc Thach, KKF of Thach Tan dara, KKC of Thach Setha and KK....of government of Thach Chan and Ly Diep FM (in vietnam pronouce Ly Yiep). Beacause, these people love to be big and high ranks such as Thach Ngoc Thach is fighting among themselves, Thach Tan Dara fighting among themselves, Thach Chan fighting among themselves, and Thach Setha fighing among other. I swear and guarantee these people are nothing and going no where but, eating meat and drinking their own blood for their ranks and be bigger.
