The Ou's are trying to established a dynasty in srok khmer. If you dig deeper, you will find more corruption in battamabang by connection by way of their extended family either through marriage. Don't be surprise if you dig up viet connection, but they claim to be chinese.

well lets see something about Sam Rainsy and all of his cronies, I am sure you can find something about them, but i won't bet on it. You will never ever have the gut to post anything negative about SR and SRP. This accusation has no proof and has no evidence to back it up. You bark up a bunch of false informations that can not be met with fact !
This is nonsense. Whoever created this accusation, knows nothing about this Ou’s family. Their mother, as a widow (her husband was killed in the Khmer Rough regime) was working very hard to raise her five sons and each one of them got higher education. Comparing to most families who came to the US about the same time in 1989, most of their children could not complete any college or university. I am personally so proud of the mother who worked really hard, especially the older brother Ou Chanrath as a role model for the younger brothers.
I bet, the owner of this accusation might not even know where the family was leaving in the state, since he mentioned about Kim Sokha’s daughter lived with the Ou family during her studying in the US. Mentioned about corruption, Chanrath helped the SRP a lot in the past, but in return he was not recognized by the party. He was used by the SRP. That was why he moved to the HRP. There is no such as claimed by the accusation that there is a business connection between the Ou’s family with the CPP. The family is still poor. The mother only has a local simple business making brick “Slo Eit” just to survive her daily leaving. Just want to let the owner of the article know, please get a life. If the Ou brothers are the opportunist as you claimed, they would join the CPP in the first place. Didn’t you remember, Ou Vireak was working with Kim Sokha for a while prior Kim Sokha departured to create the HRP. Who else would be the best candidate at that time, can you name them? I saw many nonsense comments on this KI and I don’t normally reply, but this one. This one is totally from an individual personal jealousy and caused misinformed to the public.
This accusation is base on a very sick imagination. it is tasteless and un called for. An article like this only purpose is to create trouble. Ki only allow an article that accuse , criticize about others to be post in here, but ki will never allow an article about Sam Rainsy or the SRP to be post in here that show any negative. I know the mother of the Ou brhters. When living in Fresno, she owned a small restaurant and she worked so hard just to support her sons to go to school. I think they are a good family and do the good thing for the community. Chanrath was helping alot with the Fresno community. Some family, as a single mom like her, might be on the social assistance. Looks like someone here has a dirty mind. Shame on the invidual who thought nagative to this Ou family. Look, a single mom could support and raised her sons to be good like this, don't we praise her that she did a great job? Can the individual who created this accusation do anything better compare to this Ou's?
No one will join Sam Rainsy pathetic party, name it after himself. His father was a murdered and Rainsy himself is a scary cat always ran away from problem. You probably didn't know about the secret conversation between the older Ou's and a CPP minister to infiltrate HRP and SRP. Around mid 2000, there was a secret meeting between the CPP and all the Ou's brother to concentrate on a 15 years plan to destroy oppositions party. Part of the plan was to get one of the Ou elected to be MP while the other partake in daily business throughout cambodia. They had intended on buying a lot of land using money funnel from CPP drug sale. but they failed to see the drop in land price. And did you also know that the Ou's are special intelligence officers in Hun Sen unit. They hold the rank of colonel or brigader general.

This is not new to all Khmer but we have never thogught that it could damage democracy process. The Ou's family was behind Kem Sokha's party. Let put it this way folk..If the Ou's family true love democracy and want to see peace in Cambodia, the Ou's should not encourage Kem Sokha to form a new party. The Ou's family play important role in HRP. The Ou's family is the big spending in HRP. Do you see my point? I'm was an HRP big supporter. But I couldn't compete with the Ou's family. Kem Sokha always mention about HR center behind HRP. He even openly says HR Center supports HRP that's why most people support him because they also relate to HR Center. So HR Center under Ou Virak is the one who responsible for slow democracy process in Cambodia because he abuse his power and greedy for power. Ou Virak should resign and if he wants he can run with HRP. Let indepent individual run HR center. This is not fair to Khmer people who love justice and freedom but their fate being play down by power greedy family.

Chanrith married to his wife (bor vor kanha lek pee), and he has an honor, he would not do such thing. Chanrath still have a good relationship/contact with his daughter...... don't get it... because the Ou's don't serve support you or your leader, they just become your anemy? I happened to know the Ou family since the Koa I Dang camp. They are good family. When they came to the US (Fresno), they always served the community, especially Chanrath. It is understandable that one cannot be loved by every body. For those who criticized the Ou's, have they done anything better then the Ou's? Or they just simply jealous.
I am walking to the dead end road and when I am trying to get out then there is a big ugly fight on my way out. The big men OU's and the skinny Sam Rainsy's supporters. "Ou" is in French and in English is "Or"; "Or" is in French and in English is "Gold". I don't know what I am saying but today "Gold" is what we humans are looking to have it. Gold is metal but the kind of metal called "precious metal".
If "Virak Ou" is skinny like "Sam Rainsy" people may say he is nice and not corrupted, but since he is so fat, people think that he eats a lot of "meat" like "pork sausage" etc., and he has money to afford with these kind of food, thus people assumed he is corrupted. May be he is or may be he is not. I would say I don't know and I don't care.

I agree with you. I thought KI would be more intelligent and can see and understand this kind of article, which is not true and has the purpose to paint a bad image on someone. I am also very disappointed to see this article on the KI site. I am a good friend of Chanrath from Canada. I went to his wedding in Fresno in 1989, you probably remember. I went to also visit Khmer school in Fresno, where Chanrath was involved in helping. I absorbed that the whole community in Fresno love this family very much. They are a good family, the rare one that is hard to find in Khmer community today. They are nice and always love and care of others. For those who accused this family, I dare you to go to investigate this, just go to see Chanrath to find out how he is living today. He is still living in a difficult situation in Cambodia. If it is true as your accusation, Chanrath would hold a good position in the CPP and he would not be struggling with his living situation today. If you like to find out the truth, you can go to see him and to find out where/how he lives. You will have your eyes opening. I know my friend very well. He has his own strong principle. He has earned a lot of respects from people around him because he is not a materialistic person.

Sorry I walked away from SRP more than 10 years ago. I am now not a member of SRP. But I do not talk bad about SRP because they also fight for KHMERS. In my heart I respect SRP. I now have no connection with SRP. I am not a spy for anyone. I already have a job. And there is NOTHING to spy in SRP.

SRP of Modesto and Stockton they know me well. They have nothing to worry about me because I am not with them. I am not a trator just because I know Ou's family. I did nothing to hurt SRP and I did nothing to destroy Khmer either. You can ask Mr. Vannol, the strong supporter and close friend of SR in Stockton. He knows me well.

I have met them a few times for interviews; I know that they are very moral persons living humble lives on teaching and working very hard for living in Battambong and Phnom Penh. They earnestly help to promote freedom of expression in this country. They are decent people - moral persons who earn lot of respect from me. They are not like you who insult others. Although they have difficult living, they spend their personal times to work to promote democracy in this country. What about you? What have you done?

Donors of CCHR are not as stupid as what you say; they have program to fund, and staff to support by / per program and they have their auditors to check the spending. It has no much money now, but they have work effectively and have a large impacts from freedom of expressions from the public hearings and discussions in different communities of affected people by government official-land-grabbers, the thoughtless corrupts who destroy the whole country.
