The time for a real change has come. How fast and successful people take action to demand real changes in their respective countries for true democracy depends on how educated and well informed the population of a country is.

Dictators in all countries under dictatorship will not be able to stop the push for true democracy and demands for freedom as people of present day with the help of the Internet are continously being taught in one form or another to understand and thus fight for their rights and freedom.

Cambodia is not and will not be immune to this popular cry for changes. Just listen to how one of the 2 ladies who represents the Boeung Kak lake residents said about the injustice in the video and one could not but be proud of her who appears to be a common citizen of the country and yet spoke with meaningful thoughts comparing those people's plights of losing their homes to those of the birds losing their nests and thus eventually their lives.

We cannot be silent and allow the dictator like Mr. Hun Sen to do whatever he wants in our country without consequences. The statement, and I quote "Close the door and beat the dogs", uttered by him in public indicates very clearly his arrogance and insults comparing those with different opinions to dogs that need to be punished physically.

Eliminating a dictator in Cambodia is not easy as Cambodian leaders are not much different from each other and tend to be dictatorial in nature. They possess no true understanding of the concept of leadership, which dictates that a leader must live by examples and serve in order to lead knowing full well that Cambodia belongs to the people of country and not his personal property.

Education of the population to understand their rights and freedom and to be willing to help their neighbours who are being mistreated by the government is the only way to steer Cambodia slowly out of the condition in which she is as with knowledge the citizens of a country can push and pressure the government to steer the country in the direction they want to see it go and the dictator will become a democrat not by choice, but by obligation when he takes the office of the prime minister.

KI Media Team is doing its job very well in this regards and all of us with Cambodian blood flowing in our arteries and veins can do the same where we are to promote and demand changes in our beloved country, the beautiful Kingdom of Cambodia legally and definitely owned by her people and not the king nor the prime minister and his close allies.

Correction:

"...that Cambodia belongs to the people of the country and not his personal property."

i think religion has a huge influence or impact on the people, whether it's buddhism, islamism, muslimsm, chritianity, unorthodoxsm, etc, etc... religion is like a philosophy for the people who worship it. not to say any one religion is right of wrong, i just want to point it out that religion plays an important role in the way people are, you know!
