I find it dumb that Cambodia always publish in Khmer magazines and Khmer news who the winners are in Miss.Universe and Miss.World and yet Cambodia doesn't even compete? Cambodia did have a Miss.Cambodia contest in 2006 and the winner was supposed to compete in Miss.Universe 2007 but that Hun Sen dictator had it cancelled.

Well I'm fine with being Khmer I just hate how Khmer people don't promote stuff at international levels. Your supposed to tweak your culture because you can't always live in the past. Miss.Universe gives Khmer people an opportunity to design innovative beautiful national costumes which Thailand does every year while Khmer people don't and it will always be like that. If given the chance I would want to be Thai since they love their culture more than Khmer's and always promote it to the world making Cambodia unknown to the world. Yes I think Khmer people is lame and will always be lame if they just sit their lazy ass and do nothing to promote our beauty, country and culture at international pageants.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Cambodia has just announced plans to start a Miss Cambodia beauty pageant with the winner representing the country in the Miss Universe Pageant.
