What is Khmer Krom flag?
France ceded Khmer krom to Vietnam
in 1949.
Khmer Krom has 13,000,000 people,
21 provinces,600 temples,and has
more than ten thousand monks.
The flag what some blogger see here
is Khmer Krom flag,not Vietnam flag
and not Cambodia flag.
Khmer Krom abroad have twenty
thousand people,but they could
organize Dragon Boats in abroad.
Cambodian overseas have more than
two million people could organize
anything.
I am not Khmer Krom,but I knew
who Khmer Krom are.
In following our Khmer-Krom brothers and sisters activities from around the world, I think it is time to move on from questioning the Khmer-Krom flag, the color of it, the size of it, the way it looks, and anything else you can come up with.
By now if a caring person who love the Khmer identity, culture, and history would know by now the mission and purpose of the KKF and Khmer-Krom movement.
It is such a slap in the face to ask the question why the Khmer-Krom flag is different from our also beloved Khmer flag. Or why the Khmer-Krom doesn't used the Khmer flag.
Would Nike let Reebok uses it logo to promo it's product? Would Microsoft uses Apple logo or flag?
These kind of questions that many bloggers ask are a simple one which design to provoke tension instead of show unity.
Let's move on from these kind of questions.
You go Khmer-Krom brothers and sisters. We might be separate for now but in my heart one day we will be ONE.

Historical, Khmer Krom can use the blue flag of (Preah Chau Krong Kampuchea ព្រះចៅ ក្រុងកម្ពុជា), because the real Cambodian government only existed since 1953, after Cambodia got independent from France.
Kampuchea Krom was always under the reign of the King of Kampuchea and during the 19 and 20 century under the French protectorate. The french sadly transferred this part to Vietnam before 1953. Therefore the today Cambodian Government has not much right to interfere.
The tree colors of the Khmer Krom flag is the Blue-Red and Yellow.
Blue: always Faithful
Red: ready to die protect Kampuchea
Yellow: Symbol of the Khmer King
