Lotus revolution should not associate itself with violence! I am not sure whether the Jasmine revolution has the same principle?? I know that I had throw the ideas of Lotus revolution because it is more or less from two ideas combined: The up rising in the middle East (which had a flower name) and buddhist principle (where more than 95% of Khmer are Buddhist) -- where the lotus growth out of mude but pure -- this was the concept for Khmer people...where the revolution should born out of the people/majority people that want justic and fair distribution of wealth/national resources for all...But at the sametime, it does not mean to kill others in order to better themselves. On this note, that I had put out the lotus revolution ideas.

9:48 am, I support your statement on this -- "ឈប់ប្រើនយោបាយដោយយកជីវិតប្រជាជនធ្វើជាអាជីវកម្ម!!!"! Definitely not to use violence for one's own interest. And as little as I know about Khmer history -- you are rights on target that every leaders want to fight for the people, but once they get power (include Mr. Sen). Mr. Sen behavior like King Sihanouk -- (bring food and noodle only when they need the vote from the people) -- Once they win the election, they forget all about people. All the gain and prosperity are only for their friends and family and clants, the rest...well you're well put it already. But for sure, I am not support the current regime either, the Hun'regime is no better than the Lon Nal regime or the Sihanouk's regime. The only way to ensure that Khmer people will servive and prosper in the 21st. century is to make sure that the population education, job creations, promote strong institution (no one above the laws), term limit of Prime Ministership. Last but not least train Khmer to compete not only with each others but with people in the region and the world ...because this is the vision of Khmer join ASEAN and WTO in the first place. But Khmer leaders must make sure that Khmer people are well prepare and ready to compete.

Mr Sam Rainsy must provoke all Cambodian soldiers at thai frontline to joint and rise up because they are love Cambodia so much and they are not afraid to die for the Country and Khmer Nation.
The revolution must start from soldiers at frontline Thai border. Then spread around Cambodia and Cities, Provinces.
NATO, USA forces will behind this revolution. They will fire missiles guide if Hun Sen Vietcog start to shoot and kill Cambodian people in this revolution.

Not idiot but it is real, look at Tunasia, Egypt, Gaddafy families regime hit by NATO missiles guides badly. Gaddafy even has over 1000 tanks, over 100 F16 and fight Airplane. Gaddafy has more weapons than Hun SEn and Vietcog but still defeated by NATO forces missile guide.

Koh Tral Island must not be forgotten

Why do Koh Tral Island, known in Vietnam as Phu Quoc, a sea and land area covering proximately over 30,000 km2 [Note: the actual land size of Koh Tral itself is 574 square kilometres (222 sq miles)] have been lost to Vietnam by whose treaty? Why don’t Cambodia government be transparent and explain to Cambodia army at front line and the whole nation about this? Why don't they include this into education system? Why?
Cambodian armies are fighting at front line for 4.6 km2 on the Thai border and what's about over 30,000km2 of Cambodia to Vietnam. Nobody dare to talk about it! Why? Cambodian armies you are decide the fate of your nation, Cambodian army as well as Cambodian people must rethink about this again and again. Is it fair?
Koh Tral Island, the sea and land area of over 30,000 square kilometres have been lost to Vietnam by the 1979 to 1985 treaties. The Cambodian army at front line as well as all Cambodian people must rethink again about these issues. Are Cambodian army fighting to protect the Cambodia Nation or protecting a very small group that own big lands, big properties or only protecting a small group but disguising as protecting the Khmer nation?
The Cambodian army at front lines suffer under rain, wind, bullets, bombs, lack of foods, lack of nutrition and their families have no health care assistance, no securities after they died but a very small group eat well, sleep well, sleep in first class hotel with air conditioning system with message from young girls, have first class medical care from oversea medical treatments, they are billionaires, millionaires who sell out the country to be rich and make the Cambodian people suffer everyday.
Who signed the treaty 1979-1985 that resulted in the loss over 30,000 km2 of Cambodia??? Why they are not being transparent and brave enough to inform all Cambodians and Cambodian army at front line about these issues? Why don't they include Koh Tral (Koh Tral size is bigger than the whole Phom Phen and bigger than Singapore [Note: Singapore's present land size is 704 km2 (271.8 sq mi)]) with heap of great natural resources, in the Cambodian education system?
Look at Hun Sen's families, relatives and friends- they are billionaires, millionaires. Where did they get the money from when we all just got out of war with empty hands [in 1979]? Hun Sen always say in his speeches that Cambodia had just risen up from the ashes of war, just got up from Year Zero with empty hands and how come they are billionaires, millionaires but 90% of innocent Cambodian people are so poor and struggling with their livelihood every day?

Yes, i don't this current regime of Cambodia either. However, I feel sorry and regret for using people blood to serve their purposes.
As my own opinion, i think that we should starting from changing the ideas and habit of people through education as we need social changed. Slowly, but Surely !
But what i want to tell you is i have never supported and satisfied the Hun Sen regime.
Cambodian needs terms limited for the president. I don't fucking see one man in powers for so long we must change it now don't fucking wait motherfuckers so our country can be prosperous and our people will injoys our freedom.

This is 11:21 am. Yes, I am strongly agreed with you as I had stated my comment in 11:21 am.
It is about time that we Khmer need to change the revolution of asking people to sacrify their life.
I live through the KR regime, the Viet. regime, being refugee, and a refugee again (of course I manage to be refugee twice in my life time) --- so war, violence for some ideas that promise for regime change...I will not support it. I will support for the revolution of non-violence for regime change.
It time for Khmer to demand the Hun govt. for term limite (which this should had done since the first national Assembly mandate after the first National election in 1993). If Hun Sen is promote democracy as he had claim, he should pass the term limit of Prime Ministership ( I am not envy that people elect Mr. Sen to office...but I don't like Mr. Sen using threat for people to elect him in to the offic)
So my question to you is -- how could we promote a value education that allow the people to choose their own govt? How can we move the current system to accommodate the majority (education), at the same time job creation for mpeople???

Regarding to your questions, I would like to concise my answers as follow:
Nothing can't be changed. It is a law of nature. It will not be success, If we force to change now. Time is not maturity to do so.
2. At the meantime, the opposition party should prepare itself to take the power and set up the concrete measures to respond the problem occurred
3. Educated its members by providing short trainings... By medias and study at schools, Cambodians are better aware about the society now. By keeping this progress, the good time for us will come...

I think you have a good assessment on the situation! Revolution without depending on the forest is the way to go. The revolition that we should depend on is on our mind/heart of not to kills others(this was the revolution in thee 20st century). One thing that I had learned from the KR during all those meeting (event those I was a child --- I remember the leader said something that we have to follow the wheel of history or the wheel of history will roll over you -- I need somebody to clearify this since I head this over 30 yrs a goes - and I did realy understand of what it means at the time, but now I see what they meant). Thus, this concept can be apply here in Cambodia, but in this case is the wheel of globalization (both leaders and people have to understand that there is a greater enermy to fight beside fighting each other for power (not perminate) to dominate few physical resources which not the whole factors that promote economics growth forthe country. Human capital is the most important factor of all (this the study had been done by the EU countries). So Khmer should catch the ideas of the current history that in the making!!
