Matthew interpreted Christ's words when Jesus said to his disciple who pulled the sword to defend the arrest of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane "Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."

No, you cannot suggest like that, that would be a Hypocrite. Do you know why? Because Khmer Guardian quoted the Gospel of Matthew saying:
"He who lives by the sword, die by the sword".
If I'm correct with history, Peter was hung upside in his death. I guess that's what he got for preaching the Gospel. He fought with the Sword of the Spirit but died by crucifixion just like his Master died.
