she should run in the election as a candidate, and who knows if people vote for her, maybe one day she'll become the female prime minister. cambodia today is different from the past, so, any qualified individuals can run, i guess! it's about the rule of law and respecting of the law, etc, etc. do the right thing campaign!

a leader has to have a charisma because a charisma, it's hard for them to win. i think cambodia should implement the terms limit law in the future. this way, it prevents individuals from fighting for power the old way, instead terms limit will allow others to serve as well so the same old faces can't be in power forever, just like they have in america and elsewhere, really! some says cambodia is not ready for terms limit yet, but i think it is necessary to have this law in place eventually in the future in order to prevent and facilitate the rule of law, etc, you know!
there's nothing to worry about terms limit because with it people can't cheat the system and plus individual candidate must be qualified under the law and in their own rights as well anyway, so no one can cheat the system like in the past. i think it will help facititate and foster a true rule of law society in cambodia. of course, it is good to debate about it because we like to hear what others have to say differently. this is how we get to know the potential leader(s) by their point of view, their attitude, their qualifications, their education level, etc, etc! that's how it should be, not the old way of power struggle and so forth, really! i think people just need education about it, that's all! god bless all.
i think leaders should make a lasting legacy in cambodia, whatever that maybe! a legacy reflects their achievement in leading the nation to a better future, better way, etc!

Who knows! She could be. If Hun Sen reiterated last time that Sam Rainsy wanted a leader change and Hun Sen replied that he wanted the opposition changes too. This is the time for Mu Sochua to make a move. I think all the Cambodian people will support her anyway. Plus she stood her ground when Hun Sen threaten her and wanted to arrest her. Instead Mr. Sam Rainsy ran away. If Mr. Sam Rainsy stands his ground he would got a lot of support and people will stand on his side if Hun Sen arrests him. I think Mrs. Mu Sochua is fitting the candidate position to run for first female Prime Minsiter.

she's a candidate alright, she has leadership charisma about her. plus, she's qualified in ther own rights, she's educated, and understand politics, etc, etc... so more power to her for putting her name on the ballot box. just have to be courageous about it and just do it! who knows, if people like her, they will definitely vote for her, just like yingluck in thailand. plus, she's a very articulate public speaker, etc... maybe she can set a good example for all future, potential female leadership in cambodian history as well. hey, this is a new era for cambodia, anything is possible! it's takes the right person or individual(s) to do it, i say go for it, ms. mu sochua. god bless her and cambodia. instead of sam rainsy, she could be that "new face" they're talking about for the srp party. go ahead use her right to challenge the cpp in the next national election. of course, if it were easy, everybody could do it, but it's not, so, she has to have the courage and the will to go for it, really! more power to her and her poltical party, really!

Rainsy and Samura should admit the reality: their leadership is outdated and Sochua should continue to fight from the legacy left by SRP. I live here, I hear people and we all hope that one day we can win on this bunch of corrupt dictators CPP. Come on, it is obvious that the SRP needs refreshment, Rainsy becomes honorary President and the young generation will design a new strategy to support SOchua fight.

Koh Tral Island must not be forgotten

Why do Koh Tral Island, known in Vietnam as Phu Quoc, a sea and land area covering proximately over 30,000 km2 [Note: the actual land size of Koh Tral itself is 574 square kilometres (222 sq miles)] have been lost to Vietnam by whose treaty? Why don’t Cambodia government be transparent and explain to Cambodia army at front line and the whole nation about this? Why don't they include this into education system? Why?
Cambodian armies are fighting at front line for 4.6 km2 on the Thai border and what's about over 30,000km2 of Cambodia to Vietnam. Nobody dare to talk about it! Why? Cambodian armies you are decide the fate of your nation, Cambodian army as well as Cambodian people must rethink about this again and again. Is it fair?
Koh Tral Island, the sea and land area of over 30,000 square kilometres have been lost to Vietnam by the 1979 to 1985 treaties. The Cambodian army at front line as well as all Cambodian people must rethink again about these issues. Are Cambodian army fighting to protect the Cambodia Nation or protecting a very small group that own big lands, big properties or only protecting a small group but disguising as protecting the Khmer nation?
The Cambodian army at front lines suffer under rain, wind, bullets, bombs, lack of foods, lack of nutrition and their families have no health care assistance, no securities after they died but a very small group eat well, sleep well, sleep in first class hotel with air conditioning system with message from young girls, have first class medical care from oversea medical treatments, they are billionaires, millionaires who sell out the country to be rich and make the Cambodian people suffer everyday.
Who signed the treaty 1979-1985 that resulted in the loss over 30,000 km2 of Cambodia??? Why they are not being transparent and brave enough to inform all Cambodians and Cambodian army at front line about these issues? Why don't they include Koh Tral (Koh Tral size is bigger than the whole Phom Phen and bigger than Singapore [Note: Singapore's present land size is 704 km2 (271.8 sq mi)]) with heap of great natural resources, in the Cambodian education system?
Look at Hun Sen's families, relatives and friends- they are billionaires, millionaires. Where did they get the money from when we all just got out of war with empty hands [in 1979]? Hun Sen always say in his speeches that Cambodia had just risen up from the ashes of war, just got up from Year Zero with empty hands and how come they are billionaires, millionaires but 90% of innocent Cambodian people are so poor and struggling with their livelihood every day?
