Two of Prime Minister Hun Sen's sons have been provided with the American tax-payers' funded scholarships to study at two prestigious American military academies, costing American tax-payers to the tune of $420,000.
Mr. Hun Sen's eldest son, Hun Manet, had graduated from the prestigious West Point Military Academy in 1999 at a cost of $245,00o to the American tax-payers. His younger brother, Hun Many, is now graduating from American University of National Defense at the cost of $175,000 to the American tax-payers.
Mr. Hun sen, speaking during a graduation ceremony to students at Asia-Europe University in Phnom Penh, thanked the U.S government for its generosity toward his children with this free education.

Hun Many is a Khmer person. there is nothing wrong for him to get a scholarship. In contrast we all should pround of him as a Khmer person.
You have a right to hate Hun Sen But Hun Many have done nothing wrong yet. if you think that like father like son and then ask yourself do you like you father ot grandfather and so on? do you think that your gradfathers were always a good people?

Except, his family stole money from Cambodia including destroyed environment and gave land and islands (including Koh Trol) to Youn. Hey, if he won scholarship square and fair is fine. But should a man who came from a family who stole billions of dollars from Khmer people allow to get half a million dollars scholarship? Is it fair to Khmer poeple? Is it fair to American tax money? Is this money worth for? History told us it is not. Most of this people is worst than their father after received higer edcuation because now they know all the trick to milk from Khmer people. Saif Gaddafi, son of Muammar Gaddafi, is not better than his father.
I am very disappointed that the Defense Academy institution made determination and decision to accept the son (Hun Many) of a terrorist leader (Hun Sen) of a terrorist organization (Hun Sen Death Squad) in Cambodia.
The Cambodian peoples suffer enough already by this Khmer Rouge / Terrorist (Hun Sen) family. Now, the United States want want this family of murderers more educate and powerful.

I am an American tax-payer and I'm not happy that the American government is providing free scholarships to the sons of this corrupt billionaire-dictator. This amount of money could have educated 10 poor Khmer kids in an American university. Hun Sen has stolen billion of dollars from the Cambodian nation and now the American government is paying his children nearly half a million dollars to study in America. The American government should ask Hun Sen to pay back this money and use this money to provide 10 scholarships to 10 poor Cambodian children instead.

Rainsi benefited from French education, Sochuor benefited from American education, and Chhay benefited from Australian system, I say 'Go, Many! and 'many' other Khmer people. Send more via programs such as Fulbright, etc.

I was informed by Thai friends that Hun Manet got his scholarship to US Military class through Thai quota. US Westpoint provided 3 scholarships to Thai military. General Chaowalit Yongchaiyudh, god-brother of Hun Sen, gave one of three quota to Hun Sen. Many Thai people were very angry at that time.
Can anyone ask PM Hun Sen or Hun Manet to clarify this news?

Hun Sen is not a leader. His sons and others family are not leaders. Leaders do not kill your own people. Leaders do not just chop your land and islands to foreingers. Leaders do not give the let foreigners like Youn do whatever in Cambodia. Has anyone can talk politic in Cambodia in public without fear? Has anyone can say the word "Youn" in coffee house in Phnom Penh without fear? This family of Hun is not a leader. Yes, he is a strongmen but only to kill his own people and create environment of terror in Cambodia. Cambodia afraid of Hun family, Cambodia afraid of Youn, Cambodia afraid those who close to Hun Sen.
