Brain Food from the Holy Bible

One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of him was a man suffering from abnormal swelling of his body. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?” But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him on his way.

Then he asked them, “If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?” And they had nothing to say.

When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, Jesus told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

- St. Luke (the Holy Bible)

LET'S PRAY TO GOD!!!

Matthew 6:9-13
9 Pray along these lines: 'Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. 10 We ask that your kingdom will come now. 11 Give us our food again today, as usual. 12 and forgive up our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. 13 Don't bring us into temptations, but deliver us from the Evil One. Amen.'

Is Yeshua(Jesus) anti-Torah(Law)?. The answer is, NO.

Pharisees were the Teachers of the Law of Moses, Torah; but they also added many traditions of men that are burdensome to the people. This is what Yeshua has to correct them on. They made up their own rules and stipulations that are beyond the Spirit of the Law.

Who is better to understand the law of Moses than the One who is the living Torah. Yeshua is the living Torah. You have to understand the Torah of Moses to understand the Master's teaching. Yeshua did not come to abolish the Law of Moses, rather he gave the correct interpretation how to do the commandments rightly.

The Pharisees miss used their authority because they love the praise of men then the fear of Yahweh to walk humbly before him.

Torah of God is for all nations, but first was given to Israel. This world will be ruled by the Torah of God when Messiah Kingdom is come to earth as it is in heaven.

There are only 613 commandments in the Torah (law). In the United States alone we have around a million law in the book. 30 thousand tax codes just in the IRS alone. It appear to me that God's law is less burdensome than the commandments of men!
