Sam Vichea where are you from? I wonder why you don't see electricity in the rural area? Maybe we live in different world, but poor people in remote area has some access to electricity. There is no way everyone can has access to it, but any country in the world can't provide 100% accessibility to electricity. Also the government is building more hydrodams to generate electricity. What funny is that you people also criticize government for building the damns by saying that it will affect the livelihood of the people. Damn if you do and damn if you don't right?
You cannot build a broken and destroyed country or nation into a perfectly developed world in a short period of time.
One can make the same comparison looking at the reality in American cities or European cities.
Equal distribution of wealth will never be possible under the sky because humans are born with different qualities and intelligence and also fate or luck is not equally distributed and that is the undeniable fact.
What one can do is to try to narrow down the gap between the rich and the poor. At least Cambodia has come a long way in comparison to the KR era.
The Cambodian government is corrupt and unfair; well, we all know that.
Give me the name of one Cambodian government that is not corrupt and is really fair. This is the deep-rooted problem in Cambodian society which is not going to be easily solved.
Starvation does not occur any more at least not to the same level as in the past. There are still beggers, but they do get food at least from a lot of generous people. In fact, there are beggers in all cities of the world!
One should spend their time trying to offer better and constructive advices rather than criticizing for the sake of criticism.
Instead of writing poems to criticize, come down here to Cambodia and work with us to help eliminate poverty if you are so serious about eliminating poverty and feel that the CPP government is not doing a good job.
Well, come down and help them help you achieve what you want to see in Cambodia. You can't eliminate all poverty right away, but you can work with all Cambodians here in Cambodia to eliminate poverty from one person at a time.
There are a lot of western non-profit organizations here in Cambodia which don't like the CPP government either, but they do come to help the real people here.
If you want to go to war first to eliminate the CPP government and then build the country, you might as well forget it because, after another destruction, it will take longer than you can live to build Cambodia to the current level and there is no guarantee that your preferred government is not corrupt and is very fair.

All these barking dog of Hun Sen government have shared the benefits
with this Yuon-slave government and
therefore they must bark to dfend it. I agree that there's improvement in Cambodia, but it can't be compared with the destruction that Hun Sen, his families, and all his cronies have done to ruin it now and in the future when ah Yuons take over Cambodia, all these Yuon-slave Khmers don't care a damn, because they are rich; they can go to live in the other countries easily. Those who have suffered and continue to suffer are the innocent
defenseless poor.

Although, my girlfriend had ran way from me and has a new boyfriend, it doesn't bother me much because I will use my con skills to get a daughter of Mr. Meng Ly as my new girlfriend.
