What kind of propaganda? To destroy Khmers? NO.
We Khmers were soaked with Buddhism propaganda from India for many hundred years since Jayavaraman 7, we have continued to fail and fail miserably.
I think most ancient quotes can be used to practice to have a better living such as the Dharma of Buddha of Gautama of India. But do we follow Him? No.
Propaganda to destroy or to help save lives? After all Khmers adopted foreigners' religion anyway. Buddha is a foreigner not Khmer, and so are others. Khmers adopted Hindu before then Buddhism, and why not Khmers choose other religion to help their soul in peace?
