Waiting for transportation (All Photos: Mom Sophon, RFA) |
Dropping off by a motodoop, a passenger is about to board a truck to go home. |
Tying the luggage pieces before departure |
Room for another bag? |
Anxiously waiting for departure |
All aboard! Here we go! |
Passengers of another truck wait for departure |
Hang on tight! |
Hoping for a "bon voyage"? |

Ok Heng Soy, I see you downtown Old Market, ok?
Hi 5:25AM
I thought you were the one sharing my kuyteav table, were you not?
they are very skillful
Lives are waiting to die there. It should never let done.
Not a room for a fly to squeeze in!
I hope Heng Soy is not in that truck man. If you're good luck and enjoy it.
Yes, I am...and it will be my treat for the "Kuyteav" at OLD Market (Psar Jass?)...Take care Heng (and no) Soy!
This is dangerous. Someone should educate our people about the safety aspect of traveling. Life is more important than cutting fare or any other things. Turning at a bend could easily throw people over board, and repeatedly bumping on the road could easy put the metal in fatigue and fail it.

Dang man, this is crazy riding, mang. I tell you this is too crazy riding mang. This is so crazy unsafe even a heavily tattooed guy as me would not dare mang. I am known to be a daredevil but I must tip my hat off to these crazy passengers mang. They are too crazy. That crazy driver must be held responsible for any loss of life to any of these passengers, mang. I really fear for their lives. I pray that the overloaded car will not tip over, stalled, carreen or collide with some other vehicles down the road. If they are riding on the highway of death, then I am really angry at their f*cking choices for more. I pray them safe journey to their villages. Dang it. It is so unsafe visually. It is a good thing they are in Cambodia, if they are in the America, they would be fined big big time.
Only Cambodian I saw this kind of things. We must make the fucking rule of law they should do this kind of stuff.
It is ridiculous that the Communist CPP Transportation Minister have not done anything to add Public buses for those travelers and even did not know to build roads, bridges, and more.
How stupid the Communist CPP leaders. It is a shame for Communist CPP officials under Ah Kwuck Hun Sen was installed by his Communist Vietgook masters.
It is unbelievable that Ah Kwuck PM Hun Sen who has led in the wrong directions. Wanna throw the shoes at Ah Kwuck Hun Sen!
It's been done since your ancestor time. This is how asian travel for cheap fares.
THAT IS PRODPERITY OF 30'S YEARS UNDER AH KWACK!!!! CAN YOU SEE AH KWACK???
