This picture alone cannot tell us anything. The kid looks quite healthy to me. Maybe he is helping his dad during his home construction, or is he working in a brick factory? I think not because he's way to young to be employed. I was born to a poor farmer family and nobody hired me to do anything at this age.

What is considered child labor in the West is perfectly normal and acceptable in third world countries.

For your information, I have no affiliation with the CPP nor with any other political party in cambodia. I spend more time here in the US more than in Cambodia. I'm not a young person either. Haven't you ever heard of the expession " Don't judge the book by its cover"? I never jumped into a conclusion on something that I don't know much about it. I would love to see Cambodia become a real democracy as much as most decent people do, and do you know why? The answer is that I live in the US for so long and I become more American than Khmer in term of my thinking. I hate corruption as much as you do. I hate abuse of power by the CPP and mainly Hun Sen himself as much as you do. So, after all we might have the same idea except I don't blame Hun Sen for a picture of a child whose situation is completely unkown to me. I only express my opinion and if you think that I deserved to be called stupid and blind, then it 's up to you. I just hope you feel good about the fact that you go around call people stupid for no reason at all.
