I don't know how King Mongkut managed to sleep with his 39 wives to produce 82 children. But Mongkut's son named Chulalongkorn had 97 legitimate children, but how about the children from many concubines we don't know about? Chulalongkorn had 4 queens, all were his half sisters.

How long will you learn about the history or learn about the word "Vintage". It means "old-fashioned". Each generation has its style, and in old days, Khmers or Thais' women had that kind of hair style.
Whenever you write something on the dashboard such as KI for others to read, you should at least try to teach yourself about something you don't know. You have computer and internet to gain some knowledge by searching.
It is you who force yourself to stay stupid.
remember, these are vintage photo from different era of cambodia, that's how khmer people dress and keep their hair style then. i'm sure back then the style was popular and uniquely khmer. of course, things changed now. it is good to see how our ancestors dressed and how they look a long long time ago. that's why vintage photo or old photo like these are to be preserved forever for all to see and learn...
it's called history. i'm sure my khmer grandparents looked and dressed like these photo as well. these are rare photo, maybe a national treasure as well, you know!
for me, when i read the history book, i always like to see the old photo as well. so, this are good example of a history photo. imagine if they have photography during angkor era, we would be able to see how khmer people than dressed, kept their hair, etc... study something about photography, it captures a time period that only photo shows. it's fascinating technology. thank our european friends for inventing and taken these photo. god bless bless cambodia.
