Hun Xen announced that his fate will not be the same as that of Muammar Gaddafi, the Libyan leader who was smashed by NATO and a revolutionary army. Hun Xen’s reaction took place on Wednesday 02 November, during the inauguration of the Chroy Changvar No. 2 bridge which is an aid from China.
In front of the Chinese ambassador, Hun Xen reacted to critics who compared his fate to that of Gaddafi. Muammar Gaddafi was condemned by the world for being a dictator who ruled Libya for 42 years. He was smashed and reduced to ash by rebels supported by NATO. Gaddafi also met an atrocious death.
However, Hun Xen claimed that what happened in Libya is contrary to Cambodia. He provided several claims to back up the difference. He said that (1) his health is still good, (2) Gaddafi was toppled from infighting war. He said that if there were to be a war, he would even provide arms and ammunitions to his opponents.
What Hun Xen meant is that war against his regime can never take place, however, by saying so, he does not support any internal war that he tried so hard to put it down.
Nevertheless, this is not the first time that Hun Xen warns his opponents who want to topple his regime either through armed struggle or through people power. Hun Xen always called on his opponents to compete for power through the election.

It should not be a surprise to hear about cheating from the opposition. Normally people vote for the incumbent if they see that there are improvement in their living. This is fact everywhere. If the economics were in tatters, people may turn their eyes toward the oppositions for hope. So we do not need a pundit to predict the outcome of the next election.

42 years leading Libya, Gaddafy is still a colonel. 30 years leading Cambodia, Hun Sen promoted himself to the rank of 5 golden star general. His son, with no combat experience was promoted by his father to the rank of 2 golden star general. Everyone who works side by side with Hun Sen hold the title of excellency, PhD, generals without the need to attend school. Cambodia is the kingdom of wonder with 95% of the population make less than $2/day. Beggars are everywhere. Yet, Hun Sen's TV is not ashamed to declare that Cambodia is the kingdom of wonder. How pathetic?
I just came home to the US from
Cambodia- 10/30/11. Here is my reports;
Viets are everwhere in PNH. especially in the ally where their presence is not attended. They speak only Viet, not Khmer. Viet prostitution is appearing at night time when young good looking viet girls are sitting in line in front lobby of their homes.
Viet presence seems to be in hiding. Their viet association head quarters are also in hiding.
I see many, but one is in wooded hill side in Kampong chhnang city, at phnom kraing dey meas.
In major cities like Seam Riab, Viets are everywhere.
People with SUV vehicle are agressive as they drive, they are presumed to be either rich or powerful. They do not care about the traffic regulations. The less fortunate are to follow the rule.
An arrogant lady came and stand before me when I was waiting in line for the medicine at the De la Gare pharmacy in PNH by the train station. She came out and got into the lexus car. She looks Vietnamese. PNH is crowded and polluted. Many ordinary Khmer are half way jobless. One healthy looking Khmer man, sleep in front of someone's house. He works for the owners fixing bicycle. I ask How much he get pay. He said none. I assume, he works for food. I gave hime $3. he is so happy and gratful. Tuk tuk driver is so happy when he got one customer.
I saw a lot of Viet boats in tonlesap and mekong river, one of which park in from of my restaurant- the titanic. This is the one I saw in Suon sereyrotha documentation that this boat is used to transport Viet from hanoi to Cambodia. That is enoug. OK bye.
I believe Hun sen is having nightmare every night. Therefore he couldn't sleep well and his nightmare has forced to reveal out. It is time for all Khmer Mouvement for Khmer Pour and lotus revolution to start cracking up the whistles for a start of their movement. Evey words coming out from this idiot Hun Sen mouth will be recorded by international media.
Gaddafi used to say the same thing like HUN SEN just said. Nobody can't remove or dispose him. But at the end, the more he oppressed or having tight grip on power people still wanting to remove him. The more he intimidates, threaten people the more they want to capture or remove him. At the end he received a harsh treatment. The fate of Gaddafi was very bad ending. This is also applied to HUN SEN.
