i don't think hun sen and gadafi are the same. i think gadafi was more extreme and more radical than hun sen. i think hun sen is shapable and reformable. also, keep in mind when hun sen came to power, cambodia was totally destructed by the stupid KR regime. i give credit for hun sen and his administration's hard work to bring cambodia back from the brink of destruction to what it is today and still better for the future to come. those people like scam rainsy and his jealous group of politicians struggling for power in cambodia, and i don't think they know how to fix it. in reality, they don't have agenda on how to fix cambodia, except through their so-called destructive method of "revolution" and other form of terrorist act which nobody in the world is going to support them for wanted to bring destruction and chaos to cambodia in this day and age and this modern era. i think scam rainsy and his handful of supporters are outdated in their thinking, perhaps they still think cambodia is standing still in time or something. in fact, cambodia changed a lot and will continue to do so in all fields. the country is in fact getting better i.e. improving, reforming and developing, etc, etc... i think their so-called revolutionary idea or concept should be focusing at revolutionize cambodia's method of doing agriculture, infratructure and construction modernization, reform the judicial system, the education system and the standard of living, etc for khmer people of cambodia. i think cambodia and khmer people had seen enough of destruction and suffering, and it is unappropriate and not fit the modern, progressive era of cambodia to bring about chaos and destruction just to serve these maverick, renegade group of extremist who want to use violent to illegally remove an elected official from cambodia. i think their dream is uncalled for and will be fruitless if they keep on going that destructive direction. in other words, no one in the world nor in cambodia will support them with this kind of resort to violence, outdated, minority type of extremist approach. they sounded more and more like pol pot, that stupid leader that led cambodia under his rule to the stone age and destruction and brutal gov't, etc... who wants that again in camoodia. only scam rainsy and his small clique dreamt of that again. and forget the race card, it may work in the past, but i doubt that it will work nor be tolerated again in this day and age. cambodia have seen too much chaos and destruction in the past decades already. i'm sure most of us do not want to experience or see that again, definitely not in cambodia, you know! may god bless cambodia and all our beautiful khmer people and citizens.

you are correct, for a simple person, to say in this day and age every country have definite borders and no one can take Cambodia.
And no will, unless Cambodia allows them too.
how is that? through illegal and legal concessions that outstrip Khmer resources.
through relaxing law of immigration to allow overflow one one nationality into another, eventually changing the demographic landscape of the nation
through control of commerce which can cause imbalance, and Big brother little brother or master/slave reciprocity relationship
through control of national infrastructure by:
-communications system
-transportation networks
-power and utilities
these are all signs of modern day neocolonialism.
Look at Cambodia honestly and with honest eye if you can say anything substantial created by and for Cambodian usage.
Cambodia is the modern day version of a vassalage state and a failed nation. If it had much importance as Greek or Italy or America, the world would have failed 10 times over already. But luckily, it's just a begging nation, its failures don't affect people global, but unfortunately does affect the day to day lives of it's Cambodian citizens.
Without begging each year, can Cambodia do anything?

8:12 AM I agree with you. From Speaking to many locals in South East Asia, during my professional career, many villagers knows that Cambodia will soon become the new State of Vietnam. Also from speaking with many NGO, thy are their for support but often unable to do more then they can because of the government restriction, this new NGO draft law, will putting many pressure of their work. Unfortunately, this is the reality of modern slave. With Cambodia become a country of free slave, we see no hopes in rehabilitation.
