Chers compatriotes Cambodgiens de descendance chinoise,
A l’occasion du Nouvel An Chinois qui est très largement et très joyeusement célébré au Cambodge et dans le monde entier, je vous souhaite sincèrement une « Bonne Année du Dragon ». Que celle-ci vous apporte une bonne santé, le bonheur familial, le succès dans tous les domaines, en particulier la réussite professionnelle et beaucoup de prospérité!
Les Cambodgiens de descendance chinoise constituent une partie importante, très dynamique de la nation cambodgienne dont ils ont largement contribué à la prospérité.
Dans ma famille, nous nous souvenons que mon arrière-arrière grand’père était venu de Chine, il y a de cela plus de cent ans.
Je formule aussi mes vœux de Bonne Année à tout le peuple chinois en République Populaire de Chine et à tous les Chinois et toutes les personnes d’origine chinoise dans le monde entier.
La communauté des Cambodgiens de descendance chinoise a un rôle particulièrement important à jouer: elle doit servir de pont pour renforcer sans cesse l’amitié et les relations fraternelles entre le Cambodge et la République Populaire de Chine (RPC), qui est l’amie traditionnelle et l’alliée naturelle du Cambodge.
Au nom du peuple cambodgien tout entier, je voudrais, à l’occasion de ce Nouvel An Chinois, exprimer toute notre profonde reconnaissance envers la RPC pour le soutien ferme et constant qu’elle a apporté au développement et à la défense de la souveraineté nationale et de l’intégrité territoriale du Cambodge. Depuis 1955 – date de la première rencontre à Bandung entre notre Roi Sa Majesté Norodom Sihanouk et Son Excellence Chou En-lai, alors Premier Ministre de la RPC – le Cambodge a toujours pu compter sur le soutien déterminant de la RPC devenue notre amie numéro 1.
En reconnaissance à ce soutien déterminant que la RPC nous a apporté depuis très longtemps, le Cambodge doit, en retour, se faire un devoir de soutenir sans réserve la RPC dans sa politique nationale et internationale basée sur le principe d’Une Seule Chine et sur la défense intransigeante de sa souveraineté nationale et de son intégrité territoriale. En particulier, le Cambodge doit soutenir sans réserve la RPC concernant sa position sur les archipels chinois Paracels et Spratleys situés en Mer de Chine du Sud.
Veuillez recevoir mes salutations les plus cordiales et, encore une fois, mes meilleurs vœux pour une Bonne Année du Dragon!

Yes, because he wants China to help defend Cambodia against Vietnam and to prevent Cambodia from becoming another Kampuchea Krom. Vietnam is only afraid of China.

Who wrote this letter for Mr. Rainsy or did he write it himself?
The letter is poorly written and lacks of good substances.
Clearly Mr. Rainsy needs to build a team that know how to effectively convey his messages to the people and foreign powers to get their supports.

Many countries support Sam Rainsy - those countries don't want to show their faces because they don't want to interfere in someone's marriage but they have supports behind Sam - they let Sam play his roll. That's why Hun cannot kill Sam because Hun scares of Sam.

In his letter M.sam Rainsy said on behalf of the entire Cambodian people, he expresses his views on the political relationship Cambodian Chinese policy.
I want to say that it is full of demagogy what he says. All Khmer are not Chinese blood, and all the Khmer did not vote for Sam Rainsy Party. Sam Rainsy is less than 25% of Khmer voters.
As khmer, I dissociate myself completely from his statement.

Why don't they show their faces if they really want to help? Because Khmer people have not asked enough for helps.
