It is more like Hun Sen's propaganda before the elections to show that he is not giving these Vietnamese boat people the right to buy land and other rights; well they have a right to vote, don't they? So they already have rights to do anything in Cambodia.
They are even more protected than the poor Cambodians; why? because those they are living on the great lake, which they should not be allowed to, no Hun Sen's officials dare kick them out of the lake.
They had the ability to move to Cambodia and now they cannot go back to Vietnam because they lack the means to do so?
Vietnamese government, if it wants to, can help them go back!
It is much easier for these people to live in Cambodida even on boats. They have the right to vote and they can vote for changes in Cambodia by not voting for the CPP and that alone will help prove that they care for Cambodia and will also in the long run improve their economic condition.
These people should realize that by not voting for the CPP, their destiny may not be that bad after all as the winning party may allow them to become Cambodian citizens with full rights as long as they consider Cambodia their country, obey its laws and defend her interests the same way good Cambodians do! They will get help from a new government (hopefully it is a good one) to move out of the lake and establish themselves on land.
I still believe that the opposition, especially the SRP should not use the race card too much in its election compaign, but concentrate its messages on building a truly prosperous Cambodia by promises to eliminate corruption, provide justice, equal opportunity on works and education and establish a government that will truly care for the wellbeing of everyone in Cambodia no matter what race or ethnicity they belong to.

Vietnam have a difficult time to live in Cambodia and need the sympathy form the world?
If it s difficult and hard like thesee people mention ,why they come in Cambodia and stay there any ways .

I don't have problem with the people but the gov't of Vietnam. Cambodia must not be cozy with Vietnam.
When we do business with China, China gains, Cambodia gains; but when we do business with Vietnam, Vietnam gains, we Cambodia loses or a zero sum game.
It is a losing proposition with Vietnam. I hope Hun Sen gov't will retreat from Vietnam.

If Vietnam has 80 million people and that is too many people and Vietnam has to take Khmer land,
then China has 1500 million people,
therefore China has to take ALL Vietrnam land.
Will Vietnam give their land to China ? If not, this Monster Vietnam must stop bothering Cambodia about tryting to steal Cambodia land. You has taken enough already from Cambodia you Devil Vietnam.

May be it is good for you to interview Youn at Tonlé-Sap lake.
When you go to interview them, do not forget to bring food with you for them.
When ther is rule, there is exception.
Every race that come to live in Cambodia become Cambodian and they love Cambodia and protect Cambodia.
For example: Chinese people become Khmer and love khmer.
But Vietnamese don't do that. They come to Cambodia, they bother Khmer people, they destroy Khmer natural resoure. And most importantly they want to make Cambodia part of Vietnam.
For example: Vietnamese took Champa and Kampuchea Krom.
That is why Vietnam is an exception to the rule./

we can't change the whole world, but of course we can change the situation of our country. As well and good khmer citizen, we should work together and think how to resolve the whole problem and don't make the new trouble.
This is our problem and we have to find the way to do the best for our country and our people.
