PHNOM PENH, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- Some 1,450 security forces have been deploying in Siem Reap Province ahead of the Asean foreign ministers' retreat meeting which will be held on Jan 10-12, the provincial police chief Sath Nady said Monday.
"We have been deploying the forces from Jan. 8-12 in order to ensure security and safety for the Asean delegates," he told Xinhua news agency over telephone. "The security has been tightened from the airport to the meeting venues and around the provincial town."
The Asean foreign ministers' retreat meeting will be chaired by Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, who is also the country's minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation.
It would be the first foreign ministers' meeting in a form of retreat in Cambodia. During the meeting, the ministers will discuss regional and international issues the Asean has interest in. Also, they will also discuss progress in the context of Asean Community building.
Siem Reap, the country's largest cultural tourism destination, is situated some 321 kilometers Northwestern Cambodia. The province houses Angkor Wat temples, one of the world heritage sites.

Without illegal Vietnamese/Yuou officials (like Sok Ann, Sok Kong, Hor 5 Hong, Suy Sophan, and more) and Ah Stupid Hun Sen, Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, and so on under CPP for SO LONG (MORE THAN 30 YEARS OR 3 DECADES), Cambodia/Khmer Kingdom would be better off developed and not going to be a Third World Country.
We need to get rid of illegal Viet/Yuon officials occupied under the CPP party led by Ah Stupid Hun Sen who served his Viet/Yuon Hanoi evil masters.
The majority of Khmer people did not know that illegal Viet/Yuon top ministries (Cultures, Architecture, Education, Financial Institutes, Political, Transportation, and more) under Ah Kwack/Stupid Hun Sen that have been leading Cambodia/Khmer Kingdom to be like this environment and in the wrong direction.
Cambodia should have been so developed after a short term (four years of leadership) and completely out of illegal Viet/Yuon officials under the stinky leadership of Ah stick/kwack Hun Sen (Yuon/Vietnamese puppet and slave).
