Pot Pot a man who hated by many Cambodian who were the vicitims of his regime.
Pol Pot,
Pol Pot a man who always stood up and fought against yuon Hanoi to protect Khmer sovereignty both land and sea including Kohs such Koh Trol.
If we are talking about losing land to yuon Hanoi we also can twist the real Khmer history how Pol Pot protected Cambodian sovereignty from yuon Hanoi aggression .
For instance Pol Pot tried to get Kho Trol back from yuon occupation soon after April 1979.
So the war waged led by Pol Pot against yuon Hanoi since 1970s-1997 to proctect Cambodian from falling into Indochina Federation.

Why Nil Noon refused when Khieu Samphan defend lawyer ask for short statement about 5 minutes made by Khieu Samphan?
So the main job of this ECCC is to detaining Khieu Samphan and Nuochea without letting them talk even for 5 minutes.
So from the bigining till the end of this ECCC ii has been very clear that Khieu Samphan and Nuon Chea have not allowed to talk much both behind closed door and in public of this ECCC.
This is very clear that this is Hanoi ECCC in Cambodia.
