everytime srp uses the word "youn" as an accuse, they will lose one vote for every word they use to incite people by their unfounded, most outdated, uneducated, paranoia, psychopath manner. it will backfire on them for sure for exploiting this "youn" word to incite people and disturbing peace and making people hate each other, etc. cambodia ought to have a law that say it is against the law to discriminate people based on their racial background, religion, sexual orientation, skin color, etc, etc, like the law in america. this way, people will sue them and make them unpopular or unqualified for public office, etc..., you know. cambodia needs this kind of law so people like srp cannot exploit race, religion, skin color, etc to incite people again, i think! otherwise without this law, people like srp will always exploit hatred and incite people for their own political gain. i hope cambodia will have this law along with terms limits law in the near future so there will be no discrimination in public services, politics, etc... what you do think about this law? pro or con?

i think the hisotry of this probably dated back to when youn of vietnam started to migrate into southern cambodia's mekong delta region, thus, this "youn" term became political ever since. i have no doubt it's related to the lost of the mekong river delta or khmer krom to vietnam from that time on, not to mention cambodia's koh tral island, etc that youn stole from cambodia from that time on. yes, khmer think the term "youn" is a dirty word, so they will label anyone they think as traitor as "youn." the KR people did just that, believe me, so they started to kill their own people during their reign of terror in cambodia from 19775 to 1979, you see. yes, do study khmer history and you will understand more and more, ok!
students of khmer political studies or khmer history should not ignore this aspect of cambodia identity, or they will miss a chuck of the true history of cambodia's long history.

it's like american coined asian people as "jap" during world war II, it is the same think when khmer politicians coined other khmers as "youn", it became a problem when they over used the term, you know!
