People, this is what demoralize Cambodian people. I'm referring to the art, can't read Khmer.
When they (Khmers) were rich and powerful, they displayed thousand of topless women on the walls to feed their desires. The women were their objects. But they failed to build a strong national defense. They corrupted, committed sins and they practiced false gods.
The butchers/murderers such as Jayavaraman VII discovered Buddhism to oppress the Khmer people, that may save him from his opponents whom he killed.
Sadly the sins fallen upon the empire until today.
No documents stored of how many million people the Varaman war lords (Kings) killed and tortured.
Chakri and Nguyen, the war lords of Siam and Annamese did the same. They too will fall on the same path.
Kampuchea, a kingdom of evils.
