khmer surin are talented people. they need to relearn khmer language as well because most of them only speak in siem language. they should know khmer language as well, i think! after all, they are khmer surin or khmer leu as known in cambodia, you know! don't be ashame to learn and speak our khmer language, use it when we have to, really!

This girl is very bad person. You can see that she danced in front of monks. Worst of all, in her Khmer conscience song, she used Khmer children at O'Smach to make the viewers know how poor the Khmer nation is. That is why Khmer people have to ask for help from Thailand.

Don't be too rude to her and our people in Surin. They live in the modern world, but still have very limited possibility to use their mother tongs. It is hard to live under the oppression of other people.
Of course they make mistake, but soon or late, they will look on a mirror and ask them self, who are they ?where they coming from ?
Please remember of our Khmer Krom live in the UU, how much they love our Khmer language.

How long did Khmer Surin live in
Thailand? they,some places,have had
lived more than 500- 300 years.
So they could not speak clearly Khmer.Khmer Krom have had lived
300-62 years under Vietnam control.
Khmer in Thailand and Khmer in Vietnam are much better than Khmer
in USA,France,and etc...They could
read,write,and speak well too.
To see Khmer Surin sings Khmer songs made Khmer people reminisced of the great Angkor era.

for reality is that khmer surin or khmer leu and khmer krom people, despite the political map divided them from their motherland cambodia, they still have a strong, unrefutable khmer likeness or khmer spirit and khmer identity to them all. god bless them all for whatever they do.
as for khmer language, they all sound keep our language alive their forever, that's what make them khmer. it is ok to think differently though but for the khmer language, i think it is more important than anything else to know our language both reading, writing and speak. at least know be bilingual but never forget to speak, read and write their khmer language, ok! learn it and don't be ashame or shy about it, just tell yourself to learn our language wherever you are. be proud of our khmer heritage that our smart ancestor left for us. that's all.
it is ok to be khmer even though you now live under thailand in surin, etc and the same with khmer krom in vietnam. it is ok to be khmer, keep our khmer language alive by using it more among each other. khmer language if you speak properly is a very beautiful language, make it a habit to speak and learn and inquistive about khmer language and believe me, you will know it well. it takes education for everyone to understand this. so do educate everyone of us to understand that it is ok to speak language and be bilingual. don't assume khmer is not useful, it is useful because it is your mothertongue, think of it that way. every nationality speak their own language, so should khmer people, you know. don't be ashame about khmer just because bad people tell you that, instead think for yourself and tell your self that hey khmer is my ethnic origin, so i must at least know it for the purpose of keeping my khmer ethnic alive to show the world that khmer people do exist, ok! get rid of the ashameful feeling about being khmer, there is nothing to be ashamed of because you born as khmer ethnic. there are many ethnicities in the world, and khmer ethnics is one of the many of the world, so this itself is to be proud of, if nothing else, ok. god bless.
and do come visit cambodia and learn and then take back to your home in surin or wherever. there are so many ways you can help maintain our khmer ethnicity, and knowing khmer language is the most important aspect of them all, you know. i encourage all of you to never forget your khmer ethnicity and language is a part of that ethnicity, ok.

Not agree with your argument about the Khmer live in France, USA or Australia. Most of these people are immigrants and not live on their own ancestor soils. But most of us still able to read and write our Khmer language and all my own family member can speak, read and write well the Khmer language.
Of course Khmer Krom learn the Khmer Language and they can read and write well our Khmer language.
Because most of the Khmer Krom parents wanted, that their children learn the Khmer language.
Contrary Khmer Surin or Khmer in Thailand live on their own ancestors soils, did not able to read or write and did not allow to learn their mother tong (Khmer language). Don't tell us, that Khmer Surin have live very long time under the Thai oppression.
Not the Thai are the responsible for this problem, that they can't write or read our Khmer language. Because most of them just don't want to speak or learn the Khmer language.
Whenever a Khmer in Thailand want to deserve their own language, they can move and go to school in Cambodia, like most of the Khmer Krom have done until today.
