I didn't read or listen these women's conversation yet but to read your reply, I said to myself "Oh My GOD Mrs. Liz Becker is so right about these Khmers..fight..fight among themselves while Viets silently invading Cambodia.."

Theary Seng is educated, but she is wrong about Khmer Rouges Regime. She is lack of her researches or she did not do enough researches and look for more evidences about the Killing Fields. She did not learn what, why, how, where, when the Killing Fields started before 1975, between 1975 and 1979. She did not do the deep researches and analysis before she started her popular activities to make the unreliable information "Rumor" misleading in public. It is about the commercials she created to mislead. I doubt that the Yuon/Vietnamese masters in Hanoi and CPP are laughing inside or behind close doors. We want her to be reliable with her educations before she continues to mislead the public and around the world.
It is hurting Khmer nation.

Ms. Theary Chan Seng misled and lied to the public. Ms. Soma Norodom is not HRH (Her Royal Highness). She is Miss Soma Norodom only. Her Father named Norodom Vatvani (read her biography:

And when I reviewed and went through the genealogy I found one: Norodom Vatvani called
Neak Ang Rajavong, but he was born in 18 Mar, 1902 and died after 1967 before Miss Soma Norodom was born. Soma was born on 1969.
I also found the name Norodom Srey Soma but she was born in 1873. She was a daughter of King Norodom. It cannot be this Soma Norodom. Soma may be a relative or a very distant cousin that's all.
Theary Seng is not normal and so her client Soma.

Theary is so ignorant about almost everything. Before she brags, she should do some search. Miss Soma Norodom has no title HRH (Her/His Royal Highness) nor HH (His/her Highness).
HRH referred to the children of the King and the grandchildren of the King carry a title HH. But if the King finds that HH or commoner who married to HRH has been serving the people well or she is about to marry a future King, she will be elevated to HRH (by Royal decree and no King or anyone can remove that title from her) (HRH princess Marie Eng Norodom) even if she divorced, her title remains). Royal decree cannot be revoked. Soma Norodom has no title of both HRH and HH. According to the record of the Khmer Royal family members, neither her Father nor herself are being recorded as the members of the Khmer Royal family.

First, Hun Sen's wife real name is Bun Sam-heang, she is not Yuon but a sino-Khmer, second, Hun Sen's mother is not Yuon either, she is also a sino-Khmer, just like the many Khmer Rouge leaders: like Pol Pot whose mother was Chinese and his father was Khmer, Ieng Sary, Hor Nam Hong, etc..

The title of "HRH" is out of the question for Soma. "HRH" designated to only King Sihanouk's siblings, his children and grand children whose fathers are Sihanouk's sons only, even Sihanouk's daughters such HRH Norodom Bopha Devi's daughter whose father was French Italian, she too has no title of HRH or HH, but "Keo". The title "His/Her Highness: HH, designated to cousins or to relatives but depends on how close their blood relative is.
Soma Norodom although she may be related to Prince HH Sirirath, etc,. Soma has no title of HRH, even Prince Sisowath Sirimatak has no title of HRH either, his title was HH only, and he was a son of King Monivong. King Sihanouk did not give HRH to Sirimitak when he was King Sihanouk. But Theary Seng with her medium-education (between high and low) wants to get closed to the Royal family for her fame and power has continued to fool people around, little with this and little with that for something.
Furthermore, according to Cambodian's Royal Genealogy, Soma's father and her self have no names recorded in the Khmer Royal family.

Now we see why Theary Seng does not receive respect from the majority of the readers? Because she is playing so many games for power and fame. She misuses the title, we are not sure either she is dumb or playing dumb (opportunist).
Ps; Cambodia royal is the same as other royal around the world. Queen Elizabeth's children are HRH, and her grand children that carry HRH only the ones who close to be crowned King/Queen not the grand children from her youngest son.
King Bhumibol's oldest daughter (Ubol Ratana) is no longer HRH, since she married to an American commoner. After her divorce she's back but still her title has not been restored by her father the King.
