Ad posted today in a local newspaper in Cambodia:

CAMBODIAN LAWYER NEEDED

We are looking for an experienced Cambodian criminal lawyer to represent us in an appeal before the Office of the Prosecutor-General at the Court of Appeal

Our case is related to the criminal activity — in particular, interference with the administration of justice at the ECCC — of various members of the Royal Government of Cambodia, including the Prime Minister

The ideal candidate should be a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, committed to the rule of law, and undeterred by the prospect of proceeding with legal action against sitting members of the Royal Government of Cambodia

For more information, please contact
Michiel Pestman (097 283 4337) or Andrew lanuzzi (012 506 145) PO Box 71, Phnom Penh, ianuzzi@un.org

are they serious? are they idiots or idiots? they better have a US passport ready for the cambodian lawyer they hire. Or else they might as well leave that lawyer for death when they leave.

oh, the cambodian bar association works on the words of Hun Sen. if Hun says yes it's yes, if no, then you lose your membership at the snap of the finger...just like that.
