The prey has enough of oppression so the prey has broken the wing of predator.
Cambodian government must learn from this picture. When people has enough of oppression people will rise up against oppressive government like Tunesia, Lybia, Syria and other Arab revolution.
Anotherway around with this picture that USA's symbol of bald Eagle can not always coming out the winner whereas Red Dragon of the china's symbol is a formidable foe.
8:50 and 8:55PM, you both make a good point. Empires, nations, and prosperity rise and fall. Nothing lasted forever. Remember, our ancestor, The Great Khmer Empire lasted for over 800 years. Look at us now. We're just a small nation trying to survive between 2 evil countries, Thailand and Vietnam in terms of land expansion. I emphasize land expansion nothing else. Now Thailand is boasting our great they are economically, educationally and how backward we are as a nation. I can't stand that sometimes, but we must give them credit where credit is due. Same way with Vietnam. They are boasting how it only took them 2 weeks to crush the Khmer Rouge with their blooming lotus attack. Keep in mind, what goes up must come down sooner or later. Enjoy it while it lasted. Be humble and appreciative of what you got. We Khmer can rise again and be the great ruler of Southeast Asia again.
both bird and snake are predators. but i think the bird started it all as it was looking for food. the bird was probably inexperience and didn't go for the kill by striking the head of the snake, this gave the snake a chance to use its death squeeze on the most precious part of the bird, its wings because without its wing or with its broken wing(s), it can'[t fly anymore. and we know the bird don't normally walk. but both are not smart animals, e.g. the hawk could've used its deadly beak to peck at the snake and the snake could've used it's deadly needle sharp mouth to inject the venom into the bird. you see, both of them didn't use their brain at all. so, the broken wing bird have no chance and the snake has the upper hand, think. i think the bird got backfired and now looked like the snake will eventuall y had the bird for dinner, you think? or maybe they both will get exhausted and let go. but i don't know about the bird with the broken wing. maybe the bird's mother will come to the rescue, who knows? picture is hard to tell, you know! only the person who took this picture will know for sure, really!
the question is how do you prevent it from happening in the first place? how about prevention method that calls for a well planned strategy? i told you, human can certainly learn from the animals!
Put your toes in your mouth and put your ill-mental comments on your Communist Yuon/Viet websites. You are not fit to this loop. Sorry. You are a CPP brainwashed person in the U.S. and you need to be treated in the mental hospital.
This picture is a real dramatization is indicated that both Bird and Snake are fighing for its purpose. After an exhausted long battle, they both ended up no gaining, but instead of intentional willingness, they both probably or surely be eaten by another predator...

The Great Khmer Empire
What happened if the bird was already dead? Then the snake has the upper hand.
We can't characterize or learn too much from this picture. Plus, I believe the bird was already dead.
This bird was dead since January,
1,1979.The dragon broke its wing.

or maybe the wolf that happens to walk by there eat them both for dinner, who knows? both the snake and the bird are vulnerable now!
